Champions need BALANCED mobility

Riot is always saying there should be meaning full trade offs. But sometimes this cannot happen when someone has such a good kit with mobility that has none to little downsides

And a few examples of Balanced mobility is

MasterYi Has a decent gapclose+movement speed steriod with ult. But needs to be very fed and is squishy, 1 CC and hes gone.

Ezreal Has a good blink but is squishy and falls to CC after he has blown his E.

I feel like champions need a good trade off to their mobility with the ability to STILL juke/outplay and still have sustained damage.

While unbalanced mobility is given to Zed Fizz RekSaiAkali With little to no trade offs, especially when they can be extremely safe and have huge amounts of damages to get fed with.

Ya Ezreal's E alone is balanced, but then add in the flash and heal ADCs usually take...bam, he's borderline immortal unless the player is retarded. As for Zed, you have to LAND Q and E to actually deal dmg fast, which takes a lot of skill in a teamfight...also you can like ERASE half his dmg with a Zhonya/QSS...

Zed's mobility is actually much more balanced than people realize. Yes, he can return to his shadow. If you're trying to catch him while he's already burned his shadow, run to the location of his shadow to penalize him for returning to it.

When you believe that his shadow is on cooldown, brawl face to face with him as he isn't much of a duelist in my opinion. I certainly owned his ass with Xin Zhao the other day, as he couldn't figure out a way to trade hits with me - thus he began attempting to gank other lanes.

You're trying to explain balance with logic. That sadly never works.

Knowing what the enemy is capable of doing, and likely will do is always the first step to countering them though.

A lot of people believe that the current counterplay for assassins is so limited that they can claim that assassins have no counterplay.

I say, fight fire with fire.

I get in their face, and say yo come at me bro.

Then I get Nasus Q'd and back out, saying chill the fuck out bro.

So you're saying Zed, Fizz and Akali are all tanky with high mobility?

That's news to me.

That's news to me.

Akali with her passive spellvamp makes her quite tanky in a similar way to aatrox is. They drain tank you. The difference is she does it in burst. Her w buys her time for the next burst unless your prepared. She has a hard time snowballing because she is largely single target and is all in but once she gets rolling she is hard to stop.

Zed being ad has the benefit of building lifesteal which gives him sustain. But he also offers burst to blow up any squishy that would be a threat. The passive on his w allows him to get similar amounts of ad while building low ad items (yoomus, bork, last whisper) which also make it hard to feel tanky against him when he builds so much pen. Unlike Akali he can go in and go out because his r has no limit on how far he can be from his shadow. Zed also is one of the better farmers in the game with his aoe moves and range on top of him using energy. And even if his moves are on cd he still has his aa and his passive.

Fizz is different because he uses mana so he has a gate on his moves. The problem is his qw offers little counter play since its a targeted gap closer that applies his ignite like w. Then he e's to avoid your counter and slams down on you for the finish or if he r after the qw he e's away. Fizz just needs his ratios toned down and maybe a higher cd on e on later levels so he has to commit more.

All are still susceptible to burst. An assassin excels at killing single targets. Get them fed enough and they can kill even an unfed tank. Assassins however suffer in team fights where one team member can CC them while another bursts them. Akali and Zed especially suffer here with their abilities either being single target or having relatively little AoE, their only saving grace is Akali' shroud and Zed' shadows giving them a chance to escape if they are smart. Fizz is a pain in the ass toxic champ, but he's hardly op until he gets really fed, like six kills up fed.

I voted yes, but that was because the question did not quite add up to your reasonings. Allow me to explain before you downvote.

Akali is not tanky because she has high spellvamp, that simply just does not make sense. If she is hit with hard cc, she will die very quickly as well as all of those champions. Zed is very balanced and has a huge window of weakness when his shadow is down, however Fizz late game has a very small window to be caught out and will most likely escape you if you attempt at chasing him. Rek'sai has way too much damage with tank and extreme mobility with gapcloser and a global pressure ultimate. Yes, champions should be punished somehow with having a gapcloser, and those without gapcloser should be buffed to abnormality.

If you are chasing after a car (In meta) with good speed on foot (Out of meta), it is very hard to actually catch up. So why bother? Why not just carry a shotgun and shoot the tires out (Towers) while they run away (Gapclosers) because the enemy team built a bruiser, assassin team composition. You will mostly likely have at least one squishy guy on your team always in the current meta, hell mostly everybody is nowadays because you are punished for building tank. This means assassin will not be completely useless, and require ALOT more skill.

-EDIT-

This means i believe out of meta champions should just be outright buffed to compensate for not having a gapcloser. It kind of makes sense, why give new champs and other champs new toys but leave out Olaf hanging in the wind? The dude can ignore CC and change the enemies position as he likes it, that or they just die. It would be healthy for the game.
