What are objectives?
I have heard many people talking about how objectives are important. Can someone explain or give me examples of objectives throughout the game?

Soem of the most crucial objectives for ranked games:
Winning a flame war in chat. Having a better KDA than a person you are flaming. Saying "muted" first. Asking to report your team. Saying "why" at least 10 times during the game. Saying "this team" at least 15 times during the game. Stop playing for 5 minutes straight just because you were typing. Don't ward. Blame the team for no wards. Blame the jungler. If you're the jungler, blame everyone else.
P.S. Sorry, I forgot this wasn't GD.
Dragon, Baron, Blue/Red buffs, Towers/inhibitors. Things that give a large advantage when taken, and in the case of towers/inhibs are necessary to win the game.
I am a true believer is objectives, it is what wins game hands down. I've seen so many games where you are down in kills, but by taking turret and dragions, coming back and winning, I've also seen the opposite. Where teams just chase for kills and are up, but loose every objective, and then loose the game. Objectives would be, turrets, inhibs, dragon and baron. My best advice is learn to take objectives while you can, Keep wards on dragon and baron, as they can be great advantages-ward like crazy in fact. Put wards in enemy jungle if you are ahead to keep tabs on them as well, if you know where they are you can push turrets or even early dragons. I'd rather see a tower go down than people chase blind into jungle.
As a pet peeve of mine: I've seen far too many people leave a turret at about half health with minions there to go jungle, while enemies are dead. They then wait too long and enemies come back and kill everyone as they run around jungle blind. It would be better to get turret, then go get your jungle and ward as you go. Learning your objectives and then prioritizing what should be done when, is what wins games.
