How do I know who is the person in my team which carried the most? Is it decided by the person who has dealt the most damage to champions?

Who won teamfights? Who pushed towers? Who made good dragon/baron calls? Who applyed pressure to lanes allowing split pushing? Who who who who?

There are a TON of factors. If it really matters then record your game and see who was the most pivotal player on the team.

Either it's obvious who carried and you don't need a stat sheet to tell you, or otherwise everyone contributed comparably at which point stat distinctions can't tell the whole story. The end game stats don't tell you who contributed the most because they don't measure many things. For example, leblanc doing 1800 damage in 1 second on their adc (killing him instantly) is more valuable than a karthus doing 5000 damage, but spread out over 15 seconds and across all 5 opponents, but a end game report won't tell you that. Additionally, supports can and do "carry" all the time through initiation and key cc targeting but you can't know that by just looking at the end game report. Ultimately, like Onegarion said though, it doesn't really matter who "carried" if such a thing even exists, there is only winning and losing.

Does it really matter?

The only thing you should care about is if you won or lose. After the game it really doesn't matter how, why, or who carried. Its irrelevant after the post game lobby comes up.

When you get carried by a thresh, you will know that you don't need to deal a lot of damage to carry.

Gold. Generally, the one who carried will have 60%+ kill participation (with a majority going to kills), and a huge gold difference between the rest of the team.

there are some cases there stats actually show you, like a utillity tank having most damage dealt and most damage taken with also amongst highest killparticipation kinda tells you. however If a assasin or adc has most damge dealt to champs, thats not a good indicator as those classes are designed to deal the most damage. it'S rather worrisome if they aren't amongst the highest damage to champions. overall, in most cases it's kinda impossible to tell from stats alone who carryed, especially K/D/A is a bad indicator.

theres a lot that goes into a game that you don't see on a stat screen. it doesnt matter who carried as long as you get that W.

{quoted} Is it decided by the person who has dealt the most damage to champions?

No. At least, not necessarily. Stats can't always tell you who carried, because there are various way to carry. If your tank or support has made crucial saves when you was retreating from a battle, maybe even dieing but allowing to 3 of you to survive and not leave your base open to the enemy, but defending it and allowing your team to win the next teamfight and win the game, didn't they carry even though on the stat sheet they will only get a death from that? If your top laner or jungler splitpushed the lanes while your team was losing and took down towers and inhibitors, opening you a way to win the game later, even though this came at the cost of his life when he took down tower, didn't he carry you? If your mid laner was doing the correct calls for all the game on taking objectives and moving arond the map, but in teamfights hea dealt less damage than your assassin in top/jungle and less than your adC, didn't he carry you?

the way i always looked at it was kill participation. their kills/assists in relation to your teams total kills, it shows who was the most impactful and involved in crushing the enemy team during teamfights, it also helps to look at who had the most tower kills or who was involved in pushing down towers.
