Black Cleavers!

Can we make black cleavers penetration unique to the person that has it? I just faced a team with 3 black cleavers and a last wisperor... I had 600 armor, but that didn't matter once they hit me...

Black Cleavers passive is already unique. It can only stack up to five times for a max of 25% armor reduction, period. Multiple cleavers simply means a team can stack the shred faster, not higher.

the unique quality of the cleaver is it is only capable of being stacked on an individual 5 times. This means you as a player can only hold 5 stacks of the cleaver debuff. So multiple players having this item only make you reach that cap FASTER, it does not however increase the total number of stacks allowed.

ps, if you really had 600 armor, then Black Cleaver isn't the problem, your build is.

Are you sure? Because the enemy team killed me in 1.5 seconds with 600 armor and roughly 3k hp... with 4 ad champions...

...Was your build entirely 2 Randuin's Omen's and then a lot of Thornmails + Frozen hearts?

Otherwise, yeah, champions when focused 1v5 tend to die quickly. Your job as a tank is to tank for your TEAM, not try to solo their team.

Black Cleaver is unique to the target. Together with Last Whisper it get's get you to 49% armor, so you still had 300 left. So you went from taking 14% damage to taking 25% damage.

You probably went down becasue you had not enougn health to back up that armor, or simply because they focussed you.

LOL i just crunched the numbers. you were still ignoring around 70% of the AD damage. The pen was not the problem. Here is the math

600 (-.25) + 600 = 450 ( after BC stacks pen) 450 (-.06) + 450 = 423 (6% mastery reduction) 423 (-.35) + 423 = 274.95 (total AR if person has LW and 5 stacks of BC) 275/375 = 73% AD ignore.

You just found out why no one goes full tank. It is useless to go full tank. Even with that much AR it does not matter. Being a full tank does not mean anything. You need to change your style.

With 600 AR you were ignoring 85% without looking any pen.

OR I was taric giving myself a bonus 90 armor... with a randuins, sunfire, thornmail, frozen heart, ninja tabi... last item was a locket of the iron solari... Gave randuins active a 6 second slow hue hue hue
