On a serious note, any time this is brought up on the Boards, it's a non point. You don't run into a matchup and think "oh boy I'm really looking forward to Nasus' scaling", "Man, Kindred's invades really keep me on the edge of my seat", "Brand? I love dodgeball!". So what the hell are questions like "Honestly does anyone R E A L L Y like to play against Pyke/Yuumi/Zoe/Whatever?"

I don't like playing vs Akali , she is fustrating and too strong. I don't like playing vs Bard , he has a stupid dmg and his Q is horrible. I don't like playing vs Blitzcrank because he always hook someone from my team at lvl 1 with an invade. And when he is on my team, he is useless, he miss all his grabs and he we end up to play the game 4 vs 5. I don't like playing vs , his AOE dmg is a nightmare. I don't like playing vs Darius , you can't beat him unless you play Fiora/Garen or a ranged champ. I don't like playing vs Diana , at lvl 6, she press Q R E W R Ignite and you are dead. I don't like playing vs Draven , his dmg is horrible, he three shoot with "press the attack". I don't like playing vs Ekko , stupid champ who is safe, unkillable, he has a zone CC and big magic dmg. I don't like playing vs Evelynn , she is invisible, force you to buy Red wards and her E is dealing 1/2 of your HP bar and even more. Nah i don't like to play agaisnt a lot of champ but you get accustomed to it. But i can't accustom to Yasuo Zed Yuumi and Pyke , i hate these champs a lot.

I feel like i always complain about champs, i'm never happy about the matchup but you need to deal with it.

Difference between ''I don't like playing vs most champions'' and ''I fucking hate my life playing vs this champions I wish I could leave this match'' which is how I feel vs yasuo, even when I'm winning vs a yasuo I'm hating my life, he's just obnoxious to play against

Gangplank is fun to play against because his opponent actually gets to participate in his barrel mini-game. Makes the lane (and late-game) a lot more interactive than a lot of other Champions.

There are champions that I do really enjoy playing against. It just happens a lot less often now that the damage is so high and the games go so quickly. For instance, I actually love playing against. Orianna . That's almost always a fun matchup for me. There's several examples I could give. While there are a LOT of kits that are straight toxic, not all of the kits in the game are anti-fun. The challenge is sometimes quite intriguing.

I fucking despise these champions. Everything else is fine. Also note how many of these are newer champions/reworks with overloaded kits, or champions that were once fine and got buffed for pro play. I wonder if there's a correlation?

The only thing I do not like playing against is Malphite and any fed botlane Malphite throws q at you and runs rly fast for some reason cuz thats what huge rocks/mountains do

Fun matchups are fair matchups. Darius V Hecarim toplane is probably my favorite matchup. Because it's completely based on skill. Jax vs Fiora is a fun matchup, baiting parries and counterstrikes is good gameplay. Any adc vs any adc is fun because both champs are equally busted. Poke mage vs poke mage is usually fun because you have to be good at dodging. I like playing vs Zoe, it really pushes my footwork skills and predictions. Zed can be fun to play against if you know what you are doing.

All of these matchups are actually something I enjoy, because if I die usually it is entirely my fault, unlike getting run down level 1 by Vayne top, or being AOE 1 shot by an Untargetable Vlad, or stunned from stealth by Eve, or instakilled in a single Morgana binding, etc etc. I know it doesn't feel like it, but there are still fun enemies left in league. Most of them just aren't picked because how much better the new garbage is.

I hate champions that don't have much counterplay. It's not fun playing against something that has two billion dashes or has that one ability you can do absolutely nothing against. Yi and Fizz for example with their alpha strike and trollpole. You generally have to waste an ability to get them to use it to dodge and then they can use it to engage on you. I really don't think the playstyle against those champs should be "wait for your jungler". Some other examples would be Garen with his right click silence and Olaf with his ult. Incredibly uninteractive to play against.

Amusingly, I like to play against Jinx , reason being BECAUSE I ENJOY KILLING HER. I hate Jinx (as noted in another thread) so I've made sure I'm used to killing her. So as long as my team doesn't feed her, I enjoy killing her just to watch her die. In fact, I'll dive into a 1v3 if I'm 90% sure Jinx will die with me, then it's #worth.

Soraka Yuumi for the same reason: too much heals with 0 payoffs. They never run out mana, but they make the entire laning phase uninteractive.

Only hard counters i Know are Caitlyn counters anything melee with her trap zoning Vayne fucks any tank or bruiser Fiora fucks any tank or bruiser Ahri ^^ Akali im not even in this game Jhin Fucks anything Fixed attack speed Kek (attack speed scalings to the same point of Caitlyn with item 3087 item 3086 ) as a base Nasus wait for my 75 stack powerspike Veigar wait for my 15 ap power spike and here here's a cage thats 70% of the lane Riven sit under this tower until i can dive you at level 5 then again at level 7 I feel out my match ups and i dont use counter sites. also ranged champions in top lane just win90% of the time but my team will not gank and also blame me for feeding some one who i cant even contest.

As a Trundle player, I don't mind playing against melee champs with limited to no mobility. It's the ones that don't seem to make any tradeoffs for it that frustrate me. When played well, I'm pretty much forced to fight on their terms at all times.

Also, pretty much every ranged matchup is aids. Very difficult to enjoy the game as Trundle these days. It also doesn't help that tank itemization doesn't seem to scale past the early game, so even counterbuilding against these champs feels lackluster if they get an early kill or two. Only hope is to throw out pillars, build tanky and pray someone else can get the kills.
