Mages need some love.
I feel like it's been a while since mages have gotten some attention. And no, I don't mean AP Assassins like 
or the forbidden purple man known as 
, I mean the true mages. The last time they got some attention was Mid season 6. Now they've kind of drifted into irrelevance, with the game being 100% based on which team has 
and a shield slave. If you still don't think so, put this into perspective.
My fave champion is 
and in midgame, if I want to kill a squishy, I need to do a QEWR combo. Q for slow, then EW in quick succession, then ult for the true damage. But some hypercarry like 
can pop out of nowhere and kill me in not figuratively, but literally 3 auto attacks with 
, 
, and 
and give me no reaction time.
Additionally, there's this very "balanced" keystone known as Kleptomancy. Why play a mage when you could go Bankplank mid and have 1000 dmg barrels in midgame? And if you're feeling saucy, 
mid?
So Riot, if you're reading this, please make some way to make mages relevant. They seem be in a terrible spot right now, and I haven't even addressed all of the issues.
