Morde nerfs are too much

Why do you have to gut him, rather than take the nerfs slowly, 1 step at a time? There are champs who sit at 53% win rate all year and aren't touched(ahri for example), but Morde gets completely fucked 1 patch after his release?

Passive nerfs and 10% pen off his e is huge and will make him fall off as soon as the enemy buys MR... after these nerfs Morde is legitimately going to be weaker than pre-rework morde and is straight up going to be a worse Darius(who gets a built in 35% apen + has black cleaver, and AP has no equivalent.) Qss will now not only remove your R key, but will make you be stonewalled as well while you're draintanked by adcs.

Honestly, why even rework champs if you're just going to gut them into unplayability outside of iron elo 1 patch after their release? He already has lower armor and movement speed than nearly every juggernaut, and has no way to sustain in fight, there will be no real reason to pick him after these nerfs.

Might as well revert Morde if you insist on him being a dogshit tier champ, because at least his old kit was fun and unique.

Morde is the most overpowered, overloaded, low skill floored champion i've ever played.

He deserves to be be gutted until a 8 year old kid doesn't go 20-0 on his first game with him.

Morde's already out for 2 patches, and he's been overbearingly strong in solo fights for a very long time. The nerfs in PBE is pretty sensible.

Morde has a winrate of 52.8%, while retaining a high popularity of 15%, accompanied with a banrate of 55.7%, and all of this are records from Platinum & above. He's incredibly strong, and you're over exaggerating on the nerfs.

Wow like he is a little strong in low elo and they are Dumpstering him. Their are worse offenders .

But i guess Morde has never been a Riot favorite.

If you have problem with enemies with MR, buy void staff like every other champ who needs to cut through MR.

Isnt it ironic all you morde players shout "JUST BUY QSS JUST BUY QSS" in every thread questioning morde's power, yet when you need to buy an item to counter others it's too far?

Also, he's out for 2 patches, he was already hotfix nerfed and still remained at 53%-52% WR with the highest pickrate in toplane on a newly released champ.

I think it'd be interesting to make him penetrate BONUS MR, rather than all MR (like LDR used to do before they reverted it), raising the value significantly, of course.

This would not only set him apart from Darius (who basically has the same ability + passive), but it would lean in on his theme of being an imperious warlord. He would reduce the efficiency of building against him. There is no hope. Your pitiful items can't save you.

He wouldn't deal as much damage baseline, but as people get more items, he wouldn't fall off as hard.
