Whats up with tank karma

O_O Like Is it a new korean build oooorrr... IMO its not that good O_o if it was tank karma or a tank...i would pick a tank over a non tank champ maybe its just me. Pls jusitfy

It is a viable niche build to use as a counter to high pressure bully lanes. She's ranged, with decent base damage, has acceptable cc, reasonable durability, and good team fight utility.

It basically rages kill based top laners off the face of the earth because she can actually flip it on them.

If your comp needs more peel, or protection for their carry because say you have a hard engage Support like Leona, or hard engage Jungler, maybe an ad mid, Karma is a good answer as she can fill that niche while also helping her engagers engage and contributing a little damage as well.

It's been nerfed in the past so I wouldn't say it's overpowered anymore. It's viable if the conditions are met.

Mordekaiser, Morgana and Karma are my top 3 played champions for full disclosure.

I know morgana was a thing top for the constant push an knew karma was a top before but I never won with tank karma on my team :T

/shrug. I win more than I lose with Top Karma. I also only pick her when it is appropriate to do so.

I believe there is a master tier player who only plays karma and does go tank karma top occasionally. One build was to shut down carry top laners like irelia, jax, darius, fiora etc.

Going with a frozen gauntlet allows for you to snare with your w easily with the added slow from gauntlet making it easy to get a few kills with jungle help. Only issue is that it lacks damage and without jungler intervention then you will likely slowly lose your tower. On the other hand if you have a carry jungler on your team I feel that you can easily get them ahead using your lane and snowball your jungler to carry the game.

I would not pick Karma to play as tank blindly, its definately a last pick under the right team compositions. It fills a similar niche as top tank/seige zigs. Where you max satchel and build zzrot and banner of command to slowly push and execute towers with satchel charges. Its fun and frustrates the enemy team but requires certain team comps to use properly.
