With the Marksmen nerfs coming. I feel hopeful for the 1 st time in 3 Years that this Game will finally be FUN again.

Marksmen have been long due for a major nerf.
I understand your pointed remark. But I don't complain about my lack of free time to play videogames when I have a stable job and children to raise.

Long due huh? I mean wasn't the meta Utility ADCs not too long ago? It'll probably go back to utility ADCs, and then you will probably cry about Ashe arrows.

I think everyone complaining would do themselves some good to branch out into other champs for a bit to gain some empathy and perspective. The vast majority of people who complain have zero games on said roles.

The last time Riot lowered marksmens overall power these Boards were bombarded by ADC complaint threads My remarks are a direct reference to late season 5. Sorry if you missed that

I do play 3 ADC Ashe varus MF. I just find the play pattern boring and game warping.

I think if supports aren't indirectly nerfed hard by this there's going to be a lot of disappointment though.

Yeah supports have been powerful as a result of trying to get more people to play them. Not sure if it's worked but ADC have benefited from that aswell as being powerful for a LONG time.
I have never liked ADC since I found the Range disparity has been Oppressive when Marksmen are too strong.
AMYS GRAVE1 votesSupport strength has been tied to marskmen strength for a long time, support itemization is designed to benifit adcs more than other roles, so unless they do some work on support itemization as well this will be an indirect nerf to support as well.
Seer of Mind3 votesTo be honest, as a ADC main I'm happy to see this coming, I don't like having games where I feed and then my team can't win because I end up getting killed by everyone on the enemy team. Once bot lane has a smaller effect on the game, maybe I'll be happy.
Junglers like Rengar, Kha'Zix, Shaco and Warwick are my demons right now, they're literally designed to make you feel bad at the game (to me at least). Rengar can just ult into your lane and with the bonus MS you can't really escape it. Kha'Zix can use his Leap to jump out at you whenever he feels like it, and its worse when he evolves it. Shaco is just insane, he's like the Akali of the jungle, he is able to blink into stealth, put out a clone, and still burst you down like hes AP but really its just leathality. Warwick's W passive is too strong to me, along with his R he will be able to go through both rivers at mach 7 speed and ult you from the edge of the river because why not. I forgot to mention Nocturne, his ult, is broken. Free ganks whenever his ult is up basically, as long as you have some form of cc, Nocturne can easily gank you.
Guess I had a lot on my mind about junglers, if riot can nerf their clear speed, that'd be great seeing that they can get lv 6 after about 2 + 1/3 clear and a successful gank.

I believe junglers should have that impact on the. Game. But With Marksmen being the only viable carry position it eliminates thier choice. Now they should have to contend with fed and powerful top/mid lanes who could carry the game. Takes the pressure away from botlane and makes it.

Spârky2 votesYou and me both bro. Gold 3 adc main but if i ever say that my opinion is discredited due to posts like this.. Makes me sad for the community. I agree adc's are op but I think its a bigger issue than just the marksmen role (tanks and so many dang shields) I hope the adc change changes supports too so that supports aren't just for adc's but more supportive for the whole team.

The jungle update is going to be the giant game killer if it goes through. The bot lane changes would make current league tolerable, but the jungle changes are going to make the role feel absolute shit and I imagine snowball reliant lanes like a lot of top matchups will be uncontrollable as a jungle with the pathing changes and the gametime at level 3(when they place down wards).

If they are hitting for less then they can have more Pen. But they 100% should be hitting for A LOT less
