Why is kata nerfed again?

Honestly,I thought these nerfs werent going to hit kata hard but after playing a normal game this is actually insane how slow she scales in early game.Why riot? Just why? Katarina is an early game champion you cant just nerf her early game to an oblivion and the enemies can survive with 5 hp for like 10 times because dmg isnt too high EVEN when you are winning the matchup or lane.Cant you just give her something in return as if more dmg or % dmg instead on her R so she can actually do something to tanks and not 1shot adc?Wouldnt that balance her?I dont like these nerfs at all and this is coming from a Plat 3 player.

Well if you think about it,She can kill you level 2 with a specific rune page(domination,sorcery) and then snowball into getting 3 kills at mid and then roam and so on and in the mid game when she gets hextech she is super strong,but in late game she does like 0 dmg to the tanks(even with void staff) and she cant kill adc because of hourglass or GA,so she is basically meaningless in late besides in killing squishy supports or junglers which is useless for a midlaner.What im trying to say here is,she is either win hard early or lose late.So why do you nerf her early game even more?If she cant win in early what is she supposed to do?Farm the lane forever till she gets a hextech to roam?Thats not how katarina works.

I consider her to be a mid game champion like a lot of mid laners actually. She's a champion that starts being strong once she gets her gunblade and falls off post 30 minutes as all squishy targets grab defensive options and start grouping. That being said she's way too strong early and the fact that she can build full tank after a gunblade and still be a threat is ridiculous. I like that they nerfed the base damage but not the scaling.

The late game nerf makes no sense since late game is her weakest stage in the game.

The early game nerf does nothing, and that's coming from a Kat main.

Kat is not an early game champion. She is probably the most late game assassin in the game, because she is a team fight assassin. She thrives off team fighting for her resets, where other assassins hate grouping up because it lowers their ability to impact the game. Kat needed to be nerfed so she can't snowball instantly and scale too fast.

What season are you in? She hasn't been a real team fight assassin since they updated her. Now she's more of a skirmisher and roamer. Her late game is so atrociously bad that she can't exactly do anything unless the enemy adc/mid laner doesn't focus her for whatever reason or if they walk on a dagger. And even then, she needs to make sure people that can kill her are actually dead (when they actually can't because Supports keep ADCs alive like... always).

She's an early-mid game champion because her Daggers are extremely powerful, coupled with her ability to roam very well.

Sorry but no , she was supposed to be an early game champion , " was " she is still a hyper carry in late game ,and guess what , she is still dominating and needs nerfs , I know she is a perfect pick to stop this bot lane meta , but mages and bruisers did nothing wrong to get killed easily by her , and you know what ? I sometimes play Kata support with Relic shield , and at level 6 , I can still 1 vs 1 anyone without any ap item.

Her only buff was a +3 damage on her Q, she has received over 10 nerfs (If you add the magic resist bug and the item nerfs). The thing I noticed is that Katarina got nerfed for one reason but got affected for another. After the nerfs she became useless against champs like Kassadin, Annie, Fiddlesticks and so on. But here's another problem. If she gets buffed to a point where she always wins against her laners she will always get fed and dominate in lower elo to the point where late game isn't reachable. In higher elo she becomes useless if counter picked unless the enemy teams make mistakes.
