Why are there still champs in the game that legit just press R and nothing else?

I find it just incredible that I can go into a match of RANKED league of legends in a game that obviously supports ESPORTS with a lot of SKILL on the line, yet somehow Im allowed to sit in my 1v1 lane mid and have to watch and be wary about a malphite jungle that gets fed af off of other lanes and all he has to do is press R. I mean you cant rework every champ in the game in 2 weeks, but why are these types of champs actually still in the game after being created in 2009? It just bloody blows my mind after all this outplaying in mid lane, I just get annihilated by a 11/2 malph that comes mid full AP and just presses R and now Im CC'd to oblivion and get demolished. Like damn, its clear he was the better player because he pressed R. Fuck my bad, guess I gotta play better next time and dodge the insanely easy to land Malphite R. Totally takes lots of skill to use that ability.

Also it isnt just malph, I just basically had a game against a malph jungle and was like "what in the flying fuck do I do against this?" Im even warding while losing all over the place with control wards and that shit aint helping, he legit just presses R mid and my enemy laner just gets free kills. Cool game Riot.

Malph jungle is really not that good, I used to main him jungle, he has many weaknesses like no good ganks until 6 and somewhat bad clear speed and vulnerable to counter jungling, it's suboptimal.

heres why some champs have that power spike (still dont know why akali has a powerful kit with a stronger ult/speed to boot) when they lack a certain attribute they get compensated for another thing malphite lacks any means to deal with ap enemies other than a adcish/close range (in that range) q that makes him punishable by hard poke. so they made a gapcloser/assassinish cc ult to get even with mages or to start teamfights with efficiency and reward ap while kinda punishing armor using this type of build. think of every champion has innate gold value in their whole skill sets/possible range its more easier to understand that way.

If full AP jungle Malph is the greatest of your worries, you should be a happy dude.
