Picking Akali gets you reported.

Akali is the new Evelynn, apparently. I just played a game vs an Akali as LB, and she was doing decently well against me, with her jungler Heca camping me. But when midgame rolled around, she was having a really hard time doing anything. After she tried to jump on someone in a teamfight and died, immediately their heca and zyra started spamming to report her for not helping. She even said in allchat she couldn't do anything because she would get blown up, but they just proceeded to call her bad and kept spamming 'report akali'.

I defended her in allchat because I know that the champ isn't in a good spot - they even admitted they didn't read the patch notes, but it didn't matter. They asked our team to report Akali no less than 10 times that game. I know LB is in a bad spot too, but at least LB has a decent early game.

Akali wasn't being toxic at all, had decent CS, didn't AFK, and legitimately was trying but couldn't do anything to anybody. It's laughable how bad of a spot she's in, and I wouldn't be surprised if she becomes the next Eve / trollpick where you get reported on sight just for picking her.

I did report the Heca/Zyra btw.

This just in, League players defer blame to literally anything but their own responsibility.

In other news, people get mad at Yasuo. Teemo and Lux spam laugh. Players like to spam mastery emotes. Cassio gets no skin.

Currently outside of rengar + kha kit overloading assassins in general can no longer do their jobs especially with Colossus existing along side champions who can now out burst 85% of the assassins such as Vayne Hecarim Graves Amumu

What this results in is champions like Akali Evelynn Fizz Talon Shaco struggling to do their jobs because apparently certain adc and hyper tanks actually now do your job much much better then you ever could.

In short maining an assassin right now IS a liability because most of them cannot currently do their jobs due to either champion changes, mastery changes, or item changes. Some were even impacted by all 3 at once.

Now riots changes aren't bad in general but they failed to also change the ADC as well which results in assassins getting bullied out from a position they should be best at but now take third place while staring longingly at the adc and hyper tanks.

prey tell (just asking here) what does courage of the colossus have to do with assassins doing their job as far as i know asssassins doesnt target tanks first and when they do the mastery is on its 30 second cooldown

Eve isn't bad though. Also, the skillcap on LB is pretty high, so it isn't so much her being weak, it's the player lacking knowledge.

Eve in season 2 had a 31% winrate or some shit like that. She was probably the weakest champ ever sans release Syndra who was just riddled with bugs.

Yes ,cause riot nerf her on purpose.Her stealth+stun combo was fucking stupid.

That iteration of Eve was my favorite champion in the entire game. I had almost a 60% winrate with her when she was nerfed to have slow instead of stun, and I was reported every single game for playing her until I got perma'd on my first account.

I miss that character so much lol.

Fortunately, asking other players to report someone is a reportable offense in-and-of itself (Category: Harassment).

Doesn't stop it from happening literally every single ranked game.

Seriously, if one team isn't saying "Report (x)" in allchat as the nexus is exploding, you should check and make sure you queued up for the right gametype.

I'm in Platinum.

I consider myself lucky if only one player in the game is raging and nobody has gone AFK, begun ping spamming or is intent feeding yet.

Honestly, I miss playing in mid-Gold. The games were far less toxic.

Problem is her Passive and Ult Damage. Plus nerf to Hextech revolver also hurt her early game.

Passive needs to work on abilities as well and not just basic attacks. (would be good since they nerfed hextech)

Ult damage should be able to kill low HP target and put back lower CD per level on ult to keep up with Double or triple dash flash champions. (Maybe make it into an execute, more damage the lower HP and instant CD reset when target killed ) They wont touch this though.

also there was better play with her old W for vision and slow to help team mates escape, but i bet they did this to not fix a bush mechanic with her shroud.

Old akali had a better kit.
