Edit : Also listen for her audio cues when she casts Q she sometimes shouts "MOVE!" So you can use your flash especially if you are low health. Problem solved.

This is so true.
People need to realize that her ult has a long animation, does very little damage on its own, and is completely useless if you just walk away from where she ulted. Yes, if she E'd you before she ulted, you are going to eat a shitton of damage and become a vessel, but you deserve that for letting her E you and letting her R you and your clone. And you'll probably still live, because the damage transfer from E is shit until lategame, and dodging tentacles from being a vessel is fairly easy, even when the ult buff is still on them.
No because her dunk is slightly ranged as well the hitbox on her tentacles is quite large. Also if she buys IBG you cant move. So no you can't just walk out.

For people who insist on fighting her during her strongest window at her strongest point in the game, yes.
Yep. Bad players have no understanding that when she ults you literally just walk away. I play 
and run 
. If she begins her ult I will walk out or ghost if I need too. Then when it is up I go back in and kill her. Then when she returns to lane I kill her again because my ultimate will be up before hers and most illaoi's do not build tank.
Never fight in her ultimate, unless you stun her when it starts and you can burst her down.
Depends who on her team is around to CC you.

That implies people have to learn how to play smart and dodge skillshots. That's too hard for people who cry about her.

Depends really. Youre going to get smashed when she presses R unless you flash because it increases the tentacle slam speed. Add in the insane damage you take if she landed E, aaaand you get probable death before you can really say otherwise.
she can beat pretty much everyone early game even if she misses her damn ult.
i will kick your ass with illaoi without missing my ultimate no matter who the hell you are. her E. is all she needs.
Ban her.
