I don't understand why people aren't building Lich Bane on Eve

I know prootobelt is op and all that, but at level 11 with just Runic Echoes and Lich Bane, Eve can do 812 + ~%11 max hp damage to a target near instantly with just E-QQQQ. Any additional lich-auto she manages to weave in between the Qs is another 220 damage. I know this is quite 1-shot damage, and I know it's before resistances, but it's near-instant and with virtually no cooldown if she's allowed to restealth - and it's also without W or Ult.

People keep saying she does no damage but her ratios are insane -add Morello and she does another 255 + %4 max hp with this NEAR INSTANT combo, and this is without runes or masteries. That's a ton of burst...

I used to go item 3146 item 3100 item 3285 on eve everytime before her VGU. It's so much damage!

People play less than 10 games with her and think they have it all figured out. They aren't actually putting time in on the champ. A lot of people play a champ expecting it to do insane damage in every situation. The new Eve is complex and you have to play a lot of games before you can evaluate a scenario in which to use her effectively every game.

Yeah but her raw burst is actually really strong.

Like even if you just flash on the adc and E-QQQ her ratios (over like .3s, longer term might be outpaced by other assassins) are really high.

I kinda suspect people are trying to build her like the meta "Utility assassin" that she used to need with low raw AP and 3 item actives. That's only helpful if you have high target access and low ratios, but she doesn't need to stack multiple additional ratios and base damages into her kit, she has mediocre target access and high ratios.

You can't build protobelt-gunblade-rylai's-liandry's and expect your basic abilities to hit like a truck, that's not the kind of assassin she is anymore.

Get her 400 AP and a Lichbane and EQQQ-ult will delete squishies, 600 AP and you don't need ult.

Note:prootobelt and gunblade are still really strong items, you just have to then actually use them.

I think enough players do build lich bane.

I only take protobelt if i need the extra gap closer vs certain champions. I prefer Echoes, Lich bane, Deathcap. Deathcap gives you enough AP to allow your passive to heal you to full and its obviously best for E scaling.
