Let's be serious here... this board's opinions have generally influenced the game for the worst.

"League of ADCs, they right click everyone to death at 2+ items" (... even though they had to work hard to get there and it took a lot of skill and micro to get there and the framework made sense) In response to this now all ADCs are absolute trash and you're basically trolling if you're not going Ezreal, Kai'Sa, Lucian. What a GREAT place we're at now. And how ugly is this Stormraizer item...

And remember how history repeats itself?

1 season ago: "Assassins are OP. They insta-burst you in 1 second, they take no skill, ADCs in 2017k lulz" (even though this was the just the ignorant opinion of non-assassin players) In response to this many assassins couldn't do their jobs for 1.5 seasons... we had to deal with LeClunk, breaststroke Rengar... things that took almost a whole year to be reverted

...

I think the board should be very VERY careful what to ask for in the future. This Marksmen Update is iron proof of that.

Wow, so a late game class, aka crit marksmen, are not doing good early, who would have thought it. With that, who would have thought that the early game/ champs that were not effected by this became top dog in an early game meta. This is truly a shocking thing.

This is beyond an early game meta, game times are lower then they have ever been 23 to 24 minute average from challenger to gold (and lets be honest the games may be ending at 24 minutes but they are over by 14 as you watch your base get steamrolled or you steamroll the enemy base). Aka games are either shit stomps for you or against you, not fun either way. There are almost never close games anymore and 1 mistake can cost you 2 turrets easy sub 15 minutes. Current meta only allows for champs that spike at 1 to 2 items. The state of the game right now is cancerous, you can already see how far the popularity has fallen on twitch purely due to this patch. Changes need to be made or there will be a mass exodus of players from league nuf said.

I agree that the state of the game with its heavy early game meta is not an enjoyable thing, but that just means they should fix that, not make an late game class also strong early.

Marksmen are fine. Kai'Sa has been overtuned since release and Ezrael has been for the past 8 months. Lucian is the only stand out at the moment and only because his learning curve didn't change with the item changes.
