What do I do in this situation?

Bot lane gives double kill. Twice. Top gets a kill off my gank, but then dies twice to the Irelia. Mid is ganked by their yi, and then goes 1/5 because Ahri capitalizes.

All of this happens almost immediately. I play safe, farm, and gank when I can. I'm around 8/2/3, but I just can't do anything because all types of lanes/damage is fed, so I can't build against one. Our Kennen, despite being 2/7/5, is still building full damage. Malzahar is continually trying to split push a lane, but is being destroyed every time because he has no mobility at all. I'm trying to convince our team that we scale much better and not to surrender, but when we don't surrender our support goes "then I'll end it" and suicides.

Like, no one could get anything done unless I was helping or pinging. Your lane is gone and you should probably either push tower or roam after them? The person backs. Dragon was just taken by the enemy and your pushed bot with no wards? They engage in a skirmish. You just got a kill of off my gank and are low? I pinged that Yi is in your area and you have no wards? Please stop pushing to tower.

I realize that it's silver, and not a lot of people are great at the game. We're all just kind of average. But some of this stuff seems so painfully obvious to me that I feel like I have daggers in my eyes sometimes from what I see. Another thing while I'm ranting: I know people encourage you to play who you like, but in silver you really have to take advantage of powerful things. Playing things like Varus bot or Kennen top can be good, and if you are good at them can be great, but it's not consistent. You might win every other game because your good at them, but just because of balance you won't win as much as if you went, lets say, Ezreal/Sivir bot or Garen/Graves top.

I've started to use "play safe don't die" on copy paste for every game start. It probably doesn't do much, but every once in a while someone reads it and actually listens. Those are the games that are wins, because in silver people don't know how to stop dying once they've started.

#Silver lives matter, just farm.

Do you think diamonds or plats or hell even golds say this? maybe. BUT, they know that it doesnt matter. one game is not representative of the whole. you must understand that if you are the best on your team that you MUST carry. once you start with the mentality of "I AM THE BEST PLAYER PLAYING IN THIS GAME. PERIOD. " (its egotistical i know) you will realize that everything that happens is your fault even if it isnt because you will only focus on your mistakes. you will criticize yourself every game and realize that even if you are playing the best on your team and the enemy team you are still making mistakes. You will stop memorizing the kdas of the people you play with because your mind will be memorizing all the dumb shit you have done instead. DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP ON ONE GAME. I REPEAT DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP ON ONE GAME. its one game. who cares. its frustrating, sure, but it doesnt do anything except tilt you in time for the next one. you may think this happens every game but in reality it is always a spectrum and this is one of the games where you got the shitty side of it. Focus on your own play. watch this guys video. idk why but i like him. no homo

I'm not hung on one game. In fact, I was on about a 4 game win streak as Shyvana jungle because she's broken with titanic. I realize you have to have the carry mentality, and I know that it is important to focus more on your own mistakes than others. I focus on that, which is probably why I see myself doing well in games when the rest of my team isn't.

I usually make a list of "that was dumb" stuff, and seeing that list helps me for the next game. What usually deters me is that the list is always, or at least 90% of the time, out weighed by the dumb stuff other people do. And I know, it makes sense, since their are for other people I'm comparing to just me, but a lot of the things are just.... REALLY dumb.

At this point, after a lot of playing in silver and a lot of learning, the only thing I struggle with (and a lot of others do) is map awareness, or more specifically vision deduction. By vision deduction, I mean like when you are attempting a dive on bot because the ADC is low without a support, but you forgot to look at the map to see if the enemy jungler is seen somewhere else on the map or that enemy mid is still in their lane. I often get collapsed on because I'm making close plays in an area that I don't know if another enemy is there. The plays would normally work well and were timed right, but then a counter gank could completely screw me, or some of my team, over.

This is really the main difference I see in high level play compared to me. They always know the general area of all of the other team, and are able to make risky or close plays that pay off because they know they are safe. I tend to do similar plays, having the mechanics/ability as them, but then die for it because they had back up and its a 2v1.

Just play Yi, and carry through the trash.
