How do you play against Renekton?

With all the Renekton players coming out again I need some help learning how to play against him with such a bully and sustain and tanky nature on him I'd like some tips to actually win against one

Wait for Riot to nerf him out of being FOTM.

Otherwise, you basically have to survive his constant facerolling.

Renekton can only go in do a burst combo and then be useless until his cooldowns come back again.

Solution: Use something to survive the combo, like a shield, heal, or bait his e so his combo hurts less, and then kill him when abilities are on cooldown.

If you let Renek do his combo 3 times in a row without fighting back or at least harassing him then you will loose that game.

Watch his fury. An empowered W or Q can easily win him the trade. Don't just wait until it's red to back off, though; when he's around 45%, his dash will get him enough to empower his next ability.

Also, watch out for his W in the early levels, so be careful of going in melee range when he has minions. One AA>W + minion damage has been more than enough to win me the lane against a careless opponent.

Garen DrMundo both fuck him from my experience. He'll harass, but even if he wins trades these two have a passive that'll make it so you win the next one.

With Garen, just EW going in, try and pop a silence first if you can but it's not always doable. You'll take reduced damage, and he won't be able to stay in your E for long.

Mundo, you can just harass him with Q spam, and even if he stuns you you can do damage with W + Sunfire assuming you get it. Then empower autos on E and you'll win the trade, Q if you need to run, heal back up and do it again. You'll have much better sustain than him.

Renekton is weak until he gets all his basic spells at level 3, so you have an opportunity then to get him low and keep bullying him in lane. After that, you basically need to just lane passively until he falls off after 2nd item.

He can be countered with Garen who can reduce his burst, silence him and rack up damage. Camille Gangplank Gragas or DrMundo can negate his lane presence by farming safely from range
