Newbie tip needed : What counters hard rammus for real ?

Tank-shredders with mixed damage or great defenses can wreck him.

Warwick can duel him, Cho'Gath can duel him, Tryndamere can actually kill him during the ult timer (especially if running BoRK/Lord Dominick's), Amumu can kill him in a tank war, Udyr can duel him...

The list is actually high. The main thing is that Rammus shreds auto-attacking champions in 1v1s unless they have sustain or mixed damage -- most other people can actually outlast him or, often, simply bring more power to a teamfight to ensure the win.

In short, largely ignore him and focus on bringing more to the fight than he does. He's really only dangerous if he gets through to your ADC and can taunt them.

Yorick wall wrecks him, wait for him to powerball and unless he flashes he's stuck. Adc's with magic damage or true damage. Machine gun magic damage champs like ryze, corki, cass.

You play GP? Sterak's and swiftness boots. QSS, mercury treads, a decent ranged slow also good.
