Uninteractive champions needs to be punished more.

You know about those champs I'm talking about. The ones had has ridiculous range and waveclear in their kit that allows them to farm and harass you without putting themselves at risk. If they have a favourable matchup, your laning phase will be living hell as you're slowly whittled down as they watch from 1/2 a map away. If they have an unfavourable matchup, they'll just free farm and you can do nothing to punish them. Ganks? It's pretty hard to gank them when they can clear an entire wave at the river point while standing under their turret.

I agree, but there's one funny thing about your post OP. You never said directly which champion(s) are so uninteractive so you'll get upvoted by anyone, but if you would put word "mage(s)" anywhere you would be downvoted to hell, because boards consist mostly mage mains.

I think uninteractive champ exists for a lot of roles, not only mages. Some adc at their peak were just as bad as mages when it comes to wave clearing and free poke from 800 range away, I'm thinking of when Cait and Jhin were really strong, we'd also had a few uninteractive enchanters as well, but they weren't as bad as mages or adc.

Having range isn't an unhealthy thing, but having too much range + damage with little to none draw back from missing spells other waiting for cooldown is unhealthy. That is why peak AP Nidalee and Zoe was hated so much, because they can miss as much as they wanted to, they just need to land one shot and the squishy is dead.

My favorite response to a midlaner like that(Such as Malz) Is to play their own game. They go Malz, I go Morg. We both AFK farm all game. Lol [slayer-jinx-wink]

Edit: I do agree there should be a trade off though. Lux for example comes to lane, throws her spells from a mile away, gets low on mana, goes B for a lost chapter... Then suddenly just has the ability to spam her spells off cooldown the rest of the lane, without ever coming within 750 range until she eventually lands a Q, bursts you, then goes back to standing a mile away. I suppose the trade off is that she's one of the squishiest champs in the game, but that doesn't help much if you're playing a champion that has no way to engage on her from 750+ range
