@Riot why are my teams right after successful Promo full of complete morons players?

Every time I win the die roll on Promos my teams in the first few games are complete morons and really risk falling back down again.

To force 50% win rates. It's not even a secret anymore

They force a near hard capped 50% winrate unless you are a smurf in a silver's game. They want you to play more league. They want to help you play more league. You **will **play more league. that's the next thing you gonna do next morning, play. league. a lot.

This is kind of unsettling to think about, but I don't doubt that you're correct.

That's why I never buy skins. These greedy fucks want me to tax their servers? Fine.

Promos will always be hard to win - the point of promos is to prove that you deserve to be in a higher tier/division. You aren't going to get matched with the best teammates against crappy enemies. You'll be matched with people around your skill, and matched against people of the skill you're trying to promote into (at least that's the idea).

Wonder why the enemy team always seems to be better? Well, the systems designed to give you an unmatched game in promos. They want you to prove you can carry a "lesser team".

Don't feel bad as thats just how the systems designed. People dont realize multiple systems are in place to force win rates.

Riot says that their matchmaking is intended to guarantee as many fair games as possible. So, are they lying, actually having a partially rigged system? That doesn't sound legal. Hope someone will find out how things really are.

listen,i i have a theory that riot messes with your matchmaking by giving u winning streaks and then losing streaks with the logic that if u are truly good u will be able to carry even if they match u with the worst players possible.ive been playing league since s2 and this is all i see.in a losing streak no matter how u play you'll lose and in a winning streak ull win. example recently i had a small winning streak and in a game i played like an ape.me my adc and my support were useless as hell.the enemies werent that bad but it was carried by our top and mid.this game was just not meant to be lost thats why i won it.

to sum up riot messes with your mmr at certain points in order to "test"you

Heos001 votes

It's not a theory, its a reality lul. They indeed do that in order to have you with 50% win ratio, this were more noticeable in the lasts seasons because of the RNG factor of the ''auto fill'' tool and roles with possibility of roam and impact the game more than others

thats just dumb and unfair.someone may deserve to have a 60% or even higher winrate but they are forced to play with bad players cuz riot dictates.

It helps keep League relevant all year. Honestly, most people can climb if they grind enough games. If you were able to do it in 20 games instead of 100+, ranked would be dead after the first few months.

Forced win rates keep people trying all season. The advertisement line they use lots in adds is *just one more game.

i think its about the forced 50% winrate

people either throw the game or leave it but because riot does the ranked system on whether your team wins or not there's nothing you can do. It's the most stupid way they could do it but we all get stuck suffering because of it

I have noticed this as well. Nearly every game after winning a promotion series is insanely hard, almost always a loss, unless I'm on a low ranked account and can easily carry. It seems to even out in the next game, but that first one is always super hard.

Heos003 votes

Also noticeable when you exit off of a winning streak, matchmaking puts you with literally people with skill level compared to someone 2 leagues behind yours. Almost every game of the losing streak impossible with 0 win chance and others that are dark souls lul

Frog goes moo1 votes

Ive actually noticed that. I think it's because riot knows that since you've just been promoted, you have a 3 game grace period of being able to lose so they put you on a lower mmr team. They do it to help with how their system works I think.

Last season, after demoting down through a couple tiers (somehow managed to place in Gold despite trying to throw) to see if I could rank this alt in Bronze...

I promoted back to silver 27 times. Every single time I'd catch inevitable losses until demotion. (I've some fun pics of going things like 16-2 and losing). Until I said fuck it, I'll fix it during season placements, and went to play TERA for 7 months. Somehow I'd go on a solid win streak, get back to silver... and then lose every game until I was at 0 LP, Bronze 1.... then begin winning again.

Once you're down there, unless you're master or challenger level of skill (or a new account with a blank slate) you are there to stay.

Here, ran a quick one since I wasn't at 0 LP again yet. This is all you get after win streaks, atleast it's all I get, especially if I had promoted before bouncing back down to the bottom of the rung I was in:

103 cs in 33 minutes. Least gold on your team besides support. Not an optimal build choice. Not optimal rune choice.

Astounded that you want to blame matchmaking here...

Oh, Yes, because if only I had farmed a bit better, and tried harder, that Quinn wouldn't have fed her ass off and trolled. Trist wouldn't have rushed a frozen mallet after feeding. Leona and Kayn wouldn't have then spent 20 minutes afterwards facechecking bushes!

Damn. I shoulda grabbed a Hextech instead. If only.

You, Sir, are correct! Though my farm was low because I spent all game running damage control for bottom and top.

Keep trying to avoid the actual topic of conversation and finding a way to blame anyone other then the moron clearly intentionally feeding.

3TWarrior1 votes

none of those players were intentionally feeding for the span of a 30 minute game unless someone died that much early and then went afk?

EternallyCharmed1 votes

To my understanding: Match making rating or MMR the more you win the higher it goes. If you hit a massive winning streak your MMR may be to high and you'll get placed against opponents with very high MMR.

GFREEMEN5 votes

This is not what happens.

What happens is I win my lane but my team is WELL below my level and the enemy they are laning vs and they feed.

1 Fed lane =/= 2-3 fed lanes

I lose because my team not me. GG Riot

I think it's easier to put you with people worse than you(filled in their roles) and the other team than matching you with people better than you. The thing is, it's a teamwork game about 5 people, you are not meant to carry other 4 people, even more as a non carry role, the only role that can hard carry games are high impact pressence roles like jungle :/ I think that's what they want with the new matchmaking in season 9, put filled people in lower divisions so they reduce the RNG factor for non filled people and punish they more when they fk up games.

Blackfin971 votes

That ideology is a problem though. Because in the state the game is, it only promotes one type of gameplay if you want to succeed - Playing 1v9 and trying your hardest to carry a game regardless of the team you come across.

Besides, even a role such as jungle have it far harder to carry when your teammates turn out to be monkeys who do now know how to help out during a gank, and when going back to your camps don't give nearly as much exp as these days.

Such a game environment is flawed.
