a game without adc would be a nice change of pace.

problem with that is that there are already like 20 of them and theyre forming the largest group of champions in the game. just look at how many marksmen there are now. we really have enough of them.

I put them as supports instead of tanks because they (except Tahm who flexes top and jg, forgot about that) they're only really viable as bot lane. So they are tanky, they build tanky, but they can't solo a lane and their main playstyle is that of a support.

Thresh is ranged (so no scaling MR), and has no natural scaling armor, His base and scaling HP compare to Morgana's and Bard's, neither of which are typically considered tanks. He builds tank because that is the most viable build for his kit; however, with no scaling MR, no scaling armor, and no built-in defensive steroid (as opposed to Leona), he isn't any tankier than most other champions would be with a similar build: with a similar build, if Thresh can tank it, Bard could also tank it.

Sion typically builds (and does) some damage, making him more like a bruiser/fighter than a tank such as Sejuani .

My point still stands that ADCs are nowhere close to being the most populous class.

yea, but that doesnt make them less tanks. they build tanky, they have defensive steroids, they have hard engage, they have peel and disruption. theyre tanks.

not every tank has to be played in the jungle or in a solo lane.

just like supports Soraka Janna Lulu Nami or mages Zyra Annie Morgana they have a load of utility in their kit which makes them good candidates for the 0cs role.

0 cs support does not equal the actual support class. theyre just both called "support" since originally only champions of the support class were played in 0cs. this kindof changed over the years and people started running tanks and mages in 0cs support. and then riot made a couple of tanks like leona and thresh specifically designed for the duo lane. people still kept calling it support, when "0cs" would be the more accurate term.

just like people arent able to make the distinction between "adc" and "bot" anymore, because bot lane has only seen adc in 5 years, until the morde rework.

But it's possible in some cases you could ban out all the ones that your opponents own. This may be rare, and only an issue in low elo, but then elo hell would exist moreso than it currently does, until you own a huge amount of champions.
