I miss the old map of Summoners Rift

I miss old Warwick, Urgot, Shen, Poppy and all the other reworked champions

i miss the old champion models and animations

i miss the garen and heimer taunt sounds

i miss season 1 and beta where there wasnt really a meta

i miss when people MOSTLY played for fun

i miss the ugly skins that are nowadays legacy skins

i miss all the op champions like kassadin, talon, leblanc with silence

i miss stupid mechanics like 1 minute stealth twitch

i miss 6 sunfire capes on twitch and evelynn that stacked burn dmg

I would do anything just to play ''Old'' League of Legends just for 1 day

i hate how they had to make everything looked so pretty and cartoonic

i liked the old summoners rift, i liked the old champ models and animations

I miss the days when the game was played competitively because the game was fun to play. Now the game is played/patched for competitive League, and it's much less fun because of that.

Also, reworks just mean "we're deleting this and handing you a bag of garbage instead. It has the same name, though. Please enjoy this bag of garbage that will serve as a constant reminder that we deleted the thing you liked."

LOL well said, I used to watch when I wasn't playing cuz it was fun. Its not fun to play so not fun to watch. zzz 8 min meta

Hey dude it's ok to feel sad about change, but noone can stop change. There are many positive traits about how league has changed, and on average provides a much more fun experience for players in my opinion. Just be happy you have the memories, you will need them when you get older. For now, just try to be happy with what you have and live your life to the fullest you can. Good luck buddy, and I hope you get over this and lead a happy, succesful life.

God not one of these threads. If the game was the same as it was then, it would be dead and everyone would be bored. The game was dogshit then, you miss it because of well, nostalgia. The models were horrible, the map was horrendously ugly, the balance, well, there was no balance. In five years people are going to be saying the same about season 6 even after all the things that are terrible now will be improved.

Rotating game mode: LOL BETA Should honestly be a thing, play league patch 1.1 as a game mode.

Speak for yourself. I started playing in Season 2 before my Region even had a Server so I had to play on NA with 180ms ping. I loved every second of it. I even loved watching the competitive scene...

And I still do. The only people that don't like LoL anymore are the ones that came into the game expecting it to never change. Don't get me wrong, I get pretty sentimental when I see old VODs or Siv HD/VideoGameDunky videos, but I don't resent the game for what it has become.
