How to achieve "Honor level 2" (Question)

How is it going gens, I need some help here.

It seems that I just can't reach this level 2 Honor milestone. I've had a 14 days ban some hundreds of games back and got dropped to level zero. After grinding maybe 200 or so games I got to level 1. Now It isn't moving at all.

Is there a way to find out how many times people honored you, to compare to other players'. I get Honored almost every game. I get more than 1 honor usually. I'm hardstuck in silver, I have hundreds of games there.

They say that when every player honors his teammate, your honor progress moves. What if you got couple of honors but someone forgot his praises? Does the progress move in this case?

Please, help me someone. I want to get those rewards that they tease you when your hover your mouse over your Honor level.

On a sidenote, every new patch I get one additional problem with the game. Client is trash, duh, but now I close it when the game starts (no more memory leaks). It usually runs 60 fps smooth, but after latest patch it started to have fps drops and I get slide show every so often. Screen shake is always on, I have to turn it off every single game (I've tried both config files but nothing works). Also chat window defautls its position every game so I have to move it to the side. Also, once in a while, screen locks onto my character without me hitting any buttons. It unstucks after 5 sec or so. Lastly, I have moderate fps drops that don't really cause any trouble, but they make the game a bit sharp. I have very clean system and I didn't have most of the problems in the beginning of season 9.

Sorry If I posted to the wrong board.

As someone who had a ban who dropped to honor 0 and climbed backup to honor 4 i know quite a bit about this.

  1. Ill start off by saying literally no one knows EXACTLY riots formula for honor increasing bc if they told us people would exploit it, so anyone who says they do is lying. That being said as far as we know, 2)Honors do help you move up quicker
  2. getting honored from your premade teammates however means very little, especailly if they always honor you.
  3. This is the main one, if your getting reported in games, even if your getting honored, those reports are setting back your honor progression. And yes even if the report isnt justified the system makes note that your getting reported.

Ive seen multiple people play climb through honor levels after a ban much quicker then the rate your goin, and mine was the same. I played for 6 months to get from honor 0 to honor 3! And i played quite a bit. The reason it took me 5 times as long as it should is because i type alot in game, plain and simple. I stopped being toxic but instead would give players advice. The problem was that they would report me out of frustration bc theyre tilted and dont want to hear advice. Once i stopped typing litreally anything but positive stuff like "no worries we got this team!" thats when my honor moved at a much faster rate.

So the TLDR: If you want your honor back quicker, Dont type at all or only positive things. Try not to feed to hard so teammates dont give you a dumb invalid report. And you honor level should go up 1 checkpoint about every week at the rate you play.

Cant help you with the other stuff, and i cant be bothered to go back and grammatically clean this up xP , hope this helped and goodluck to ya! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I can't speak from experience, but I know that when I created a smurf I played a bunch of bot games and got 2+ honors per game playing Soraka/Yuumi and saving people constantly.

Now, not saying it's a fun way to earn honor back, but if it's really important to you, that might work since you can knock out games pretty quick. Again, don't know if it would work better than PVP games, but it's something to try.

I was in your same position last year. There were a lot of popular misconceptions I came across.

The honors you get do not matter. Do not focus on that because they factor little into your progression, and honors from premades mean even less. Asking for honors will not help you.

What matters far more is honors you give, so honor every single game. If everyone honors, then you all gain more progress. Who you honor or who gets honored is not what they focus on.

You also need to be using the chat, so do not mute all because it will make it so much longer to get to honor level 2.

Obviously, it should go without saying that getting reported frequently is going to halt your progress, but they don't tell you when your progress is has halted. If you've been toxic recently, but just haven't gotten a notification, it doesn't mean that it's not effecting your progress.

Finally, dropping to level 0 after August means that you're likely not going to get to level 2 in time for end of season rewards. There's no set requirement for honor unlock that we're aware of, but it usually takes people around 150-200 games if they're reformed and showing that through chat and honoring.
