Urgot has no place in this game

How is It going everyone,

I somewhat main Urgot because I like the concept of the champion but I am very frustrated with him. I have hundreds of games behind my belt but every time, I feel like this champ is straight up unbalanced.

His Q does little to no damage and has high mana cost and CD. You can't spam it like most champions spam their abilities. Also 1 sec slow, why.

His "E" is very hard to land especially when your enemy knows how to play against you. I've managed to get to Gold league last season and I have never lost a lane to Urgot, he is too predictable.

His ultimate has a wind up and it is extremely hard to hit someone with, especially at close range. Enemies have multiple ways to get rid off it, even if you did land it successfully.

The only reliable way to use it is "E+R" combo. Guess what? That 0.75 sec stun that E provides leaves your opponent enough time to flash or use other fast cast abilities. How is it even fair? Urgot can 1v1 most if not all of the top laners, but It is almost impossible to go "all in" without landing your "E" which in return, a hard skill to land as is , doesn't guarantee you landing your ultimate.

I don't get it, would it kill them to make "E" 1 second at least? Darius's pull provides a longer CC especially given that he can slow you afterwards.

One can make an argument that Urgot outputs more damage in 1v1 situation, but what use the damage has when you have trouble landing your spells?

I've lost countless games because people just walk left and right to dodge my E.

In a teamfight you basically face the same issue. If you don't land your E and hopefully ultimate, you will get kited and CC-d and you become useless.
Also, E hits the first target it encounters and usually those are gonna be tanks.

Last game Darius managed to pull my whole team and squishy folks died instantly. I can't land one E on their mage or adc, and all I can do to help my team is Flip their tank and hope that he dies.

This champ needs another rework or something. They nerfed his shotguns a while ago from 8% to 6%, now Conqueror is useless on him. I don't even know what rune I want on him now.

You say that's not fair, but how isnt it?

Release reworked Urgot had some of those things you listed: stronger Q damage and slow, and low mana costs. That was what made him frustrating to deal with in the first place.

Q is mainly for locking on with W, and E can be cast while CC’d. Even when knocked backwards, you’re still gonna flip somebody backwards. The R always sucked in terms of windup time, but it was made up for in raw effectiveness and execution.

I like Urgot the way he is now, since they made him the de facto balanced bruiser rather than an unbalanced ranged marksman.

I also main Urgot. I hit plat in the preseason after returning a few months ago from a (two? three?) year long break.

Urgot is strong. His Q does little damage but you're using it to ensure your W auto targets a specific person you want as well as slowing them.

His dash can be used to punish most anyone who goes in to last hit for CS while you have shotgun legs and W ready.

He's ranged in a melee dominated lane while have both a good early game and a huge power spike at level 9 assuming you are maxing W first. He is also fairly tanky for a ranged character.

He also always stays relevant even if you get behind thanks to his ult.

You absolutely should be punished when you miss your dash. How would it be fair if he wasn't punishable for missing it?
