So what is being done about bots?

And I don't mean co-op vs AI bots. I'm talking about bots in live games taking the slot of a player. No masteries, packing ghost and heal, insta-locking, they know how to purchase items and run around casting skills but it doesn't matter if it's 1v4 on an enemy tower these bots are going in. They lately have a normal name with some random letters tacked on at the end.

Normally I don't have to worry about them, being at highest MMR, but now they started sneaking into my matches as well and getting on a smurf puts me in games where I am the only human player in a game among 9 other bots. This is a problem because after 40 minutes waiting in queue the last thing I need is a game with a bot in it wasting my time.

If this was happening on SR Riot might have finally done something about it, but at this point we may as well rename Dominion to Coop w/ AI

i had to test this from another popular post about bots, and yes, they are live BOTS, i was paired with 9 of them, and they are automated to buy stuff, fight, etc. and it was pretty interesting but i dont know what to make of it...

From all these recent reports of a robot resurgence, it makes me wonder if there's increased demand around this time of year causing increased supply from account sellers, or if it's simply a coincidence. Either way, I doubt anything's going to happen until at least New Year's, since Riot's probably working with a skeleton crew due to the holidays.
