Why does Swain and Karthus get nerfed while seeing no play but Lux and Brand are untouched?
When Lux and Brand are seeing so much play and dominating, but Riot decides to nerf Swain and Karthus, two champs that rarely if ever saw play.

Swain isn't OP at all unless you're retarded enough to duel him nearly melee range. You can even take matchups he "counters" like Ahri and just shove the wave and roam. Swain can't waveclear well at all and is extremely predictable. He wasn't OP unless people failed to kite him or understand how his ult. cd and costs work. Way too many people tried to duel Swain or teamfight vs him instead of forcing rotations he can't match well.
Karthus is stronger than Swain imo but I'm not convinced a nerf was justified there either. None of these champions were considered problems by most people after the DFT changes.

Swain probably didn't need it since DFT was getting hit anyway. He's much less dominant now because of that.
The W nerfs are honestly just a small slap compared to the DFT nerfs. But yeah, I agree. If they are going to target champs, target brand and lux. Burst casters are having a hey-day with thunderlords, and Brand is still pretty strong even after the DFT nerfs.
The Brand nerf dropped his win rate by 3% in plat+. That is a pretty sizable nerf.
Lux. Dunno. I do know that those people with a large number of games on Lux and Brand have a lower win rate than Swain and Karthus had. The best Swains and Karthuseseseses won more than the best Luxes and Brands.

lux is garbage atm and only good because frost queen
a 3-4 kill lux is as strong as a 0-0-0 lux was with some farm about 10-12 months ago all of the items she uses have increased in cost by 300-500g so to be "fed" as lux you have to be like 8-0 to have 300 ap its fucking retarded
she is also immobile and removed from game entirely by banshees/qss/2-3 mr item stacking
