It's funny because people don't remember what the other OP champs and strategies abused in past seasons. People only remember the fun parts and don't remember the champs that were broken.
Next year people will be saying that season 7 is the worst and will say how s6 was so balanced and that every champ was viable.

Dynamic Que alone is reason enough S6 is the worst.
Balance is always messed up, but DQ is special.
out of the 4 season i have played (3-6) seaosn 6 IS the most imblanced. as its the ONLY season where ALL SIX BANs are used on BROKEN OP champs rather than on banning out your counterpicks.
parts of season 3-5 had up to three OP champs that needed to be banned every game. but not the the point where EVERY ban on BOTH teams needed to be used to ban out OP champs.
and if my memory severs me correctly most of season 3 only had 1 or 2 OP champs
its a FAR cry from the 6-8 MUST bans we see in season 6
well i've been playing since season 2 so i've lived through old kass and ap yi and all sorts of absolute bullshit, but in my opinion, this actually is the worst season ever.
for me it's not really about broken shit. playing against udyr, kog, xin, etc is infuriating but it's not an instant win. i've learned how to counterplay most of them. i just hate the current meta. games end too quickly, hard to play on defense because of how weak towers are, one slip up at 20 mins means gg.. everyone dances around each other awkwardly until someone gets bored and starts throwing. and the team that makes the first mistake usually loses.

I remember end of S5 pretty well. Games required skill, weren't decided in the first 10 minutes. I think the biggest thing at the time was that Vayne was slightly too strong. Vision meant a person could split push without dying immediately to a 5man, and you could afford to play an immobile mage mid. I remember being able to ban out champions like Vladimir, who I didn't want to play against, whereas now there's 6+ mandatory bans.

thing is that now adcs can play anywhere and dont require to be babysitted to late game, tanks blow up people in one rotation and games are over too quickly becasue turrets dont do dmg and die instantly while death timers last sooo long that most championc an kill you with their ult, you come back and they have it again
It's not the champions that make me hate this season. It's the vision changes. The ward system is S5 was perfect. Then they decided that vision capacity should hard scale with level, so if you fall behind it becomes even harder to regain control than it already is
I have played Season 3,4,5 and now 6 and of course I can only speak for myself but so far this is the season I enjoy the least.
Been playing since S2. Each season had it's issues, but this is by far the worst for me. The only thing that rivals it is old devourer WW, that was complete bullshit. I really enjoyed S2 up until mid S5 with the Juggernaut update. Even the Cinderhulk meta wasn't horrible in my opinion because you had hard counters to this build (ahem Vayne).
Now the entire game flow is different. One lane that is behind is nearly an automatic loss.
I still have yet to play a single game where the first lost inhib came back to win. One downed inhib is almost an automatic baron + drag. Then the game is over. I finally quit this game after years of playing, so that in itself should say something about the season because I was playing regularly up to the end of S5 in Plat.

I don't think we've had a "League of Cleavers" moment in this season so far, which is a plus.
Main thing I hate about season 6 is the new queue. I just dislike it. I main champions that excel at lengthening games so I don't really mind all the early snowbally champs rolling around.
