Recent URF thread compendium: the community clearly cares about URF (or AR URF or whatever).
Recently there's been a lot of talk about URF. Some of it positive, some negative, some just confused as to why Riot won't even talk about it. There have even been some ideas for how to help fix some of the most common complaints against URF. In fact, there have literally been dozens of threads that pertain directly or indirectly to URF in some fashion, created or posted on in the past week. As of the posting of this thread I have collected links to and stats about 25 of these threads.

I made another thread with a poll regarding URF, and out of over 100 votes in ~3 days, over 80% of people said they wanted more URF (AR or whatever) than has been in the RGMQ, most voting for a lot more than currently. Now, all this stuff on the forums, polls, etc. is obviously a really small sample size compared to League's overall player base. But I think it's enough to show that many in the community do care about URF in some fashion, and Riot's recent avoidance of the topic is simply not in line with the community's interests. If there are good reasons to not release it, or whatever, they should tell us. At minimum a Red post telling us it's on their radar, but they can't tell us when it'll come back would be greatly appreciated. Even better would be if they engaged with any of the ideas for how to improve on URF's champion select experience. And of course I personally would love them to announce a return of URF in the near future.
Upvote if you are interested in URF in some fashion (love or hate). Downvote if you think we should all stop talking about it. Comment if you have anything specific to say regarding URF, Riot's silence, etc.. And of course, visit any of the threads that look interesting to you.
