I tried making a Champion Concept that had stealth-on-ally before, but Xypherous told me that stealth-on-ally is toxic gameplay because it ruins counterplay. If you were to stealth a Malphite, countering his ultimate would become brutal.

She needs the shield herself. She's very squishy.

no.

Stealth mechanics in LoL are pretty awful. It's the same undetected=OP, detected=UP stealth mechanics from Blizzard's RTS game Warcraft III or Starcraft. Good for an RTS when you want unit counters to be massive, hard-counters.

Bad in an arena like LoL where you want counters to be a ~10%~15% swing.

If stealth mechanics in LoL were something like Metal Gear Solid, then yeah - aiding allies via invisibility would be cool.

Lux's shield having the boomerang baton application makes it interesting enough.

Main difference between a dull attack like the AA of a hero in you're typical RPG or the amazingly sexy lasers of the Collousus in SC2 is more the application method than anything else.

Adding a lot of intricit buff/debuff mechanics to a skill won't necessarily make it interesting or feel rewarding.

How is her shield boring? It's the only shield that can potentially shield your entire team save for Karma ult shield.

Because Draven or Kat NEED to be able to become stealthed, right?
