The reason why Yasuo seems so oppressive.

This is not a rage rant but an analysis of why Yasuo is oppresive.

Yasuo is oppresive due to his ability to tap into bonus AD from crit chance and his windwall.

The difference between a 50% crit chance ADC and a 50% (100% due to passive) chance Yasuo is way different in the damage department.

Theoretically, two autos from an 50% crit chance ADC will do 100%+200%=300% AD damage

However, 50%/100% crit chance yasuo will do 180%+180%=360% AD damage.

That is a 60% AD damage difference. The only time (theoretically) when their damage become even is when the ADC has 80% crit chance.

Adc in ten autos: (8)200%+(2)100%= 1800% AD damage. Yasuo in ten autos: (10)180%= 1800% AD damage.

That means yasuo not only hit this powerspike earlier, but also deals more damage than the typical adc at 50% crit chance.

NOW FOR THE INFINITY EDGE

ADC with IE at 50% crit chance theoretically deals 100%+250%=350% AD damage.

Yasuo with IE at 50%/100% crit chance deals 225%+225%=450% AD damage.

That is a 100% AD damage difference.

Although it is simillar of how the damage evens out around 80% crit chance. It requires at least 85% or 90% crit chance to out damage yasuo.

It also means that Yasuo benefits better from lifesteal resulting in him being more durable than the average ADC with the Warlord's Bloodlust.

(However, I believe it is done to compensate for Yasuo's melee range, no matter if the opportunity is presented that he could dash to the enemy or not)

The other reason is his windwall, it is a free pass in most cases for yasuo. Windwall gives him soo much out play potential, it can block game changing ultimates, block a fed ADC from dealing 2-3 autos during that duration which in some cases means 1000 damage denied.

It denies the reward of a perfectly aimed skillshot and your autos. The feeling is that you were cheated from doing some thing right, you did something correctly but recieved no reward as the outcome.

Not only that, it sometimes forces ranged champions to reposition themselves to positions that is undesirable. It can heavily balance the fight for yasuo as it potentially allows him to dictate the way of a fight.

Thank you for reading and good luck on the rift.

Yasuo is melee. He should do more damage than an ADC.

Tryndamere also does more damage than an ADC. He does more damage than Yasuo as well.

i find it annoying when im playing nasus, and we have a fucking tug of war all game of whos outscaling who. to my knowledge, i shouldnt be outscaled as nasus if im farming a champ for 3 deaths in a row and they somehow outscale me by getting a phantom dancer.

Yasuo isn't oppressive. People just don't know how to deal with him/

All that is great and not accurate at all, but Yasuo isn't an adc. Also 8 attacks from 200% damage is 8 200% attacks, not 1800%. Plus critical chance only foes to 100% not 200%. That isn't fucking math. He is a fighter, like Illoai and Darius. Add that to the fact that he is a close range champion who needs to get into fights and deal damage, he wouldn't do any damage without the crit and would simply die.

That isn't fucking math ffs.

Yasuo with IE at 50%/100% crit chance deals 225%+225%=450% AD damage.

Neither is this wtf. His cap crit is 100% of his current basic attack so if his damage is 10 his crit is 20. It does 2X his basic hit not 450% wtf.

That is a 100% AD damage difference.

No it fucking isn't.

Although it is simillar of how the damage evens out around 80% crit chance. It requires at least 85% or 90% crit chance to out damage yasuo.

DO you not understand how crit works? It gives you a chancer to deal twice your normal hit, the chance only means how often it happens, not the damn damage,

It also means that Yasuo benefits better from lifesteal resulting in him being more durable than the average ADC with the Warlord's Bloodlust.

No it doesn't wtf.

It only counters those who it is meant to counter. The one skill in game able to counter the brokenness of adcs.

It denies the reward of a perfectly aimed skillshot and your autos. The feeling is that you were cheated from doing some thing right, you did something correctly but recieved no reward as the outcome.

Yeah denying skill shots is called countering. You want fair take away the range of the adcs and make them fight next to each other, you want to play the game yasuo has his windwall, adcs get range.

Not only that, it sometimes forces ranged champions to reposition themselves to positions that is undesirable. It can heavily balance the fight for yasuo as it potentially allows him to dictate the way of a fight.

You mean you aren't spoon fed a win against a team. poor baby.
