Do I go classic what I have been doing?
Do I switch roa for morellos and/or switch zhonyas for Rylais? I really can't decide.
Also what about liandrys in place of void staff for non squishy Veigar?

All depends on the situation, sometimes I build him in a different order
and a Mana/CDR Item are his core items imo
Sometimes the enemy doesn't build much MR so

ArkenStorm1 votesI've been thinking this is what ill do for a veigar that cannot be bursted as easily, because often if/when I die, i don't even have time to press zhonyas because cc. so I'm thinking i don't even really need that and I will do something like this. I always start tear btw.
That will give lots of health and about the same AP, and you end up a lot tankier and still dealing lots of damage

Lord Dusteon1 votesWell, you need the Rabadon's, Zhonya's, Void Staff, and probably the Sorcerer's Shoes for every game.
You need some form of mana, and as a stacking AP cooldown limited champion you almost always want 40% CDR. That leaves Seraph's as really the only item to switch out.
And since Seraph's was just buffed, it's about equal to RoA (probably a bit better tbh). Veigar is an assassin, so getting the Rylai's slow isn't that good; most targets either will die in less than a second, negating any use of the slow, or kill you right after burst/ you walk away, making the slow rather meh as only your Q can apply it in a useful fashion (since you need EW to hit W most of the time, and they'll be stunned for the entire slow duration).
