I just got an idea about Lucian
So, i got Lucian in an ARAM earlier today. Lucian is a very fun champion, one of the few i genuinely enjoy playing because his playstyle is very close to an Assassin. And as i was playing, i had an idea.
Lucian should be lightly reworked to be an Assassin.
His kit fits that of an assassin. He's agile, aggressive and badass.
If his kit changes accordingly, he should work very nicely as an assassin. What needs to change for that is his W and R to fit the assassin theme more, and his Passive shoud be a big part of his damage output along with his Q but in a more meaningfull way. He should be encouraged to by more Raw AD and not crit. His Q should scale a bit better and his Passive should be his main damage along with it, not his AAs. His passive shouldn't be just ordinary AAs, but rather be hard hitting bolts that complement his burst patterns instead. Both hits do significant damage. His passive would trigger similarly to how it triggers now but only after Q and E casts and there should be a synergy between his Q, E and passive.
So far i've only thought about how his autoattacks, Passive, Q and E should work, with W and R being replaced by something else, i'm not sure what yet. His AAs don't crit at all but apply other on-hit effects as normal. For Q, restore it's old effective range and scale better with AD His passive doing significantly higher damage on champions with both hits and apply only lifesteal effects and not ordinary on-hits. Also, they can crit since his normal AAs can't crit at all. Also, his passive hits lower his Q cd by a bit, enough to have it reset after 2 passive procs and 40% cdr and his passive procs lower E cd only by 1 second per hit and only on champions. His E is as it is now, but resets on kills or assists.
About his W and R, i'm not sure what they'd be, probs W a defensive/Utility spell and R either a damaging spell or an empowering effect for his Q and Passive for a short duration or probably a spell that provides a tactical advantage. I honestly haven't thought about it. His Kit should revolve around his passive, Q and E for damage the most.
So, what do you guys think?
