If you think i do it for the upvotes, go ahead and downvote. What am i gonna get out of the "upvotes"? Is my life gonna get better? Will i get money? will i get laid? No. So, why would i care about the upvotes?

The whole reason of this post is to do what it's meant to do. Remind people that soloQ is important and most of all remind RIOT that we won't forget about it.

Put thought into it? Like what? Explain for the milionth time what the DQ and SoloQ is about? Everyone already knows about it. Don't you know about it? Were you living under a rock or something? No, of course you know it. So, why do i need to explain over and over again why we want SoloQ?

Go ahead and downvote if you want, nobody cares.

I used to play SOLO Q since I started League.

However with this season's DQ I'm actually enjoying the game a lot more.

Here me out:

Solo Q was really fun for me, but thats because I didnt konw anything different. I had to deal with 4 new trolls/feeders/afkers every single game and honestly it wasnt a fun experience argueing about roles and playing with randoms.

With DQ I only ever play with friends. I'm starting to enjoy the game a lot more. I mostly play normals, but my experience has improved a ton. Since I play with people I know, I know what to expect from them. No AFK, raging etc. Plus we've started to develop some strategic synergy.

And this transfers into ranked as well, I think I play a lot better with 4 friends on comms, rather than 4 random shitheads.

Its probably just me, but most randoms (not in my premade) have some sort of bullshit drama complex or they suck.

Therefore, as a former SOLO Q ONLY PLAYER, I actually like and enjoy the game more with DQ.

You enjoy it but ranked was never about enjoyment. Ranked is about ranking up, going up through the ranks, proving your dominance. it's all about winning. if you want fun, go play more normals.

Video games are about fun.

You're not even close to a high enough level where SQ would actually impact your rank as much as you think. You're still going to be bad, especially with that mentality.

Playing games like league isnt just about fun. Its like saying playing NFL is about fun and throwing the game cause its "fun". League is a competitive sport/game, yes there are some who only play it for fun and i respect that but you in turn should respect people play it for more then that. For example LCS players make a living off it. Would they have been able to make a living off it if they did whatever cause its fun? There are people who want to make a living off gaming

Yeah obviously. But especially in a game like League, pretty much anything under diamond 1 is an absolute joke. Matchmaking can never be competitive due to the sheer fact that luck is a factor. 5 v 5 premades are competitive. LCS is competitive. Queuing up in ranked will never be competitive.

Especially in this guy's case, since he's silver 2.

yes lower elo doesnt have much chance at competitive play at that elo but they arent ever going to get higher unless they take it seriously too. LCS players didnt get to lcs by not taking it serious and just playing for fun

Most Plat+ want Solo Q so they can play in a competitive environment and move up based their skills Most Gold- want Dynamic boost so they can get out of low elo because "they don't belong" and friends can carry them to where they belong...problem is, everyone has been carried there now so bronze/silver/gold/plat/diamond mean nothing at all.

when is my turn to get carried? i mean if everybody has gotten carried there..why are more than a third of "them" still in bronze..you would think they would like to get carried a bit further than the bottom eh?

dynaq undermined everything ladder/ranked stands for. riot games only for casuals now. I'm pretty sure every parking stall at riot games is reserved handicapped parking. lol

to join solo queue and play vs premade is so unfair and frustrating....They have the great advantage of not having feeders, leavers, flamers and what not in their team(or at least very lower chance) and those are the players who set the result of 90% of the games

you really need to open your eyes and roam around the boards and reddit. Oh, and see the dislike count on the DQ video from Riot that is more than tripple the amount of likes.

The boards and reddit posts come from an extremely vocal minority, all the people who like/are neutral about dynamic queue (which is most people) don't go and spam the shit out of the boards and other forums with posts saying how much they like it, because that's stupid. That's why it may seem like everyone hates DQ, because the only people who post about it are the ones who have complaints.

The people that don't bother using the boards or reddit are the people that don't care. and the people that don't care are mostly casuals... Basing the Competitive part of a game on CASUALS isn't the best idea though...

Well, in a blog post from some high end rioter back when the vid saying SQ was dead, he said that if ALL else fails, sq would have to return... So, i still have hope. things don't look like getting better at all.

Riot has a final resort option which is to give League of Legends an in game voicechat. Then Riot can say they solved the team communication unfairness so 'everything is equal again regardless of if you solo queue or triple queue'.

I'd like SoloQ back as well but it's very unlikely it'll happen considering this option they have.

alright, if people generally in low elos are already toxic by typing can you imagine the cancer that would unfold from voice comms? it aint happening

I certainly hope it won't happen, but I expect players to be more toxic in a chat than they would be on a voicechat.

What survey? i haven't seen any survey that says anything about DQ... Even the ordinary 5 min survey that pops up from time to time has no question related to DQ... did they ask 100 people and got a conclusion for 30 milion players?

More than 100 but basically. Fun fact: you don't need to sample everyone to be certain of what the majority think as long as your survey methods are sound.

when you have 30+ milion players, you can't determine the majority on a sample of some mere hundreds... Also, riot uses speech manipulation and suggestive thinking in most of their statements about such matters, see Lyte's post back then.

League isn't the place for solo players anymore.Small step(or no step) for a man, big step for lol comunity

isnt all that gray as it seems ...

P.S. i don't try to return SQ anymore , accepted it as it is and will try to adapt to it.... LOL isn't the matter of life and death so let's just move forward and dont give a fuck for it :D...and yes i still enjoy it from time to time, little less, but enjoy it
