I'm not suggesting you cough up hundreds of chests to older players, but it would make sense that a player who has been here since the beginning would have a much higher level than somebody who got here only a few months ago.
Even if you only do this for games played on the new match history, that's somethiing.

All they said was that they were "removing the level 30 cap".
They said nothing about "moving it to 100".
In fact, with the graphic they showed of the level 100 meter, it was only part full.
The XP bar is never part full if you're at the level cap.

Who knows maybe they'll let you goto level 100 and then fill up the bar, maybe their's going to be some prestige system later in the future.
