Malphite has to be in the greatest spot right now.

Seriously though.. the guy hasn't had any changes to his kit since his release. Maybe some stat tweaks and splash.. but the kit hasn't changed. Malphite sits pretty on passive stats that make him a hulk in any setting.

Players willing to try Malphite will not be discouraged. Malphite can utilize any rune page with ease. Build Attack Speed and watch his W smash enemies with a flurry of heavy blows. Build Ability Power and reap the benefits of a great point and click Q. Build Armor and enemy AD abilities don't even break your passive. Build Glacial Augment-Approach Velocity and throw a Randuin's on the guy and holy Hell nobody gets away.

I love Malphite.. and I can't believe I'm saying this after what happened to Taric.. but maybe we need to realize when it's time to revisit a champion. And when a champion is allowed to abuse any build you give it based on stat-superiority it becomes a problem.

No. I'm saying he's too easy to use to be as strong as he is. I love Malphite. It's just really easy to abuse his kit because how he stacks. I feel bad for people when I play Malphite because I literally get Lethal Tempo and PoM and build Bloodrazor, use ult to knock up proc LT and close the gap with Q and Smite to throw these hands at literally anybody that doesn't land CC in time. I go God mode and it's literally just an abuse of his kit. I feel so bad when I play Malphite. You always hear people talking about "abusive champs". I wonder why Malphite is never mentioned.

just play malphite for 5 games in a row and blind pick him and u will understand how weak he is in SOLO Q mate. i mean yea malphite is a LCS pick if u go 5v5 flex with ur friends malphite is bettter then any broken top lane bruisers in league but in solo Q ? u cant climb with malphite its so team depended.

I don't party up. But I don't spam play Malphite either. I do try to keep in mind he CAN be countered, which is why I ban Riven every time I do play him, and if I get a heads up by an enemy pick I'll avoid choosing Malphite in general.

I also play "Fill" so I don't get placed where I can always play him.

Last season I climbed gold 5 to plat 5 as full AP Malphite toplane.

Yup i like the way how you can play him in different ways like chogath (tank, ap, bruiser) you can't have that experience with ap yi
