Now that Trinity force doesn't give crit anymore, i am really curious what all those Trinity fanatics-heretics will build on yasuo to get the 100% crit when they hate IE so much

where is your armor pen? And don't tell "i have my ult", the ult only works on bonus armor. You aren't oneshotting anything without armor pen. Where is your Botrk? or is it useless as well because Reasons?

Btrk was never ideal for Yasuo - it's only good on bad Yasuo players who get poked down easily and need the attack speed to spam Q. However after level 11 with btrk you no longer benefit from the attack speed essentially wasting the stat.

So, all those people that built it before or buid it even now are bad yasuo players? Or people that go full AS runes and go for PD, Trinity now to get that higher AS are wasting the stat after lvl11? So, you say that any more AS beyond the AS needed to get the 1.33 Q cd is wasted? Like, hitting them faster while your AAs hit harder than your Q is bad? are you for real now?

My argument is that it is not ideal - this has been discussed before as well. Yasuo gains 1% cdr on his Q for every 1.72% of attack speed. This attack speed can be gained from items as well as the natural attack speed he gets per level. Yasuo gains 3.235% attack speed so it ends up that by the time you get static shyv a lot of the stat is wasted on yasuo as your Q doesn't benefit from the additional 40% AS from BTRK.

Now of course you can still build it and get the benefit of the attack speed and lifeleech on your auto attacks but fact of the matter is rushing it instead of going static shyv into infinity edge has never been ideal. It's much better to get the 100% crit chance (20% IE + 30% Static) *2 and the 250% crit damage from that item path. However Yasuo's that are getting poked down and rely on the 3rd Q to trade in mid typically do better with BTRK.

i never said anything about rushing it... It's just that along with the BT later in the game and with the fact that the current HP damage is contributing to the lifesteal, you get a high DPS value due to the AS, a healing active that also makes you stick to a mobile target, and high damage against tankier opponents. I never rushed it. Back in season 5 i built it after Statikk-IE and sometimes i even built an LW before it. Now LW is trash actualy but against tanks, it is a good combo with the Botrk passive hp damage.

Don't need Armor pen I have ult, yes its enough.

Yes I am one shotting with 100% crit with 300 AD, plus the extra damage from trinity I could chunk someone for a 1000 damage easily. (Not really a one shot, yasuo isn't an assassin -_-)

And Bortk's useless, only used if your playing against a Vayne, or you suck at kiting with yasuo.

This build is close to 300 but not there. Yes, the sheen effect will add quite a lot to your attacks, 218 damage actualy, but it's not that much compared to a build with 450 AD with a lot more lifesteal, and also, with 450 AD, you will oneshot any poor guy that is not a tank and got caught in a knockup, am i wrong?

To get 100% crit chance a shiv/PD and Infinity edge will be standard.

Trinity with it's stats can still be bought as a third or 4th item but might fall out of favor.

Ye, for me, it was shiv-IE for a long time and before that, when i first started playing yasuo, it was PD-IE, but i never used trinity in the mix... Even if people don't realize it, IE lowers your damage output considerably due to the lack of armor pen, especialy after the LW change. they all go for high DPS but as a yasuo, if there are no enemy units to dash around and can't use that 100% crit to destroy someone in 2-3 hits then you are likely to die tbh...depending on how good your enemy is.
