Whatever happened to bringing liss back into the "playable" fold?

Thought there was something going on with her, beyond the itty bitty numbers she got recently. She was my go-to mid for a generic game, when counter picking wasn't make or break, and I miss her hyaaaa when she chucked ice.

Riot was testing different passives for her on PBE a few months ago, but it seems like she has completely disappeared from Riots mind. Lissandra was the first mage i actually spent the time to learn and get decent at when i first started playing league right after Jinx was releashed
