My biggest issue with it is that you're stuck with the crappy t1 gold gen until you get 500 gold. You used to be able to back and get better gold gen at around 200 gold generated.
You do realize after you hit 1000g, you're literally prohibited from getting efficient gold IN ANY WAY.
-You lose the ability to poke for gold. -You can't farm effectively because farming results in the minions giving less gold (50% cut at 20, 80% cut at 50). (It's extremely post lane to fall into this problem, and literally get 5-6 gold per minion kill)
P.S. It's +1 per 10, not 5.
No Mana Regen. No added damage.
post lane supports are getting a net 1600g less gold after debiting the savings from the initial item. That's HUGE.
