He is unkillable, can make you sit for 5-6 sec and take his damage, and he does huge amounts of damage for the amount of cc he has. He's top like every other game this week (not sure why), and it only highlights his issues.
Mecha MaIphite7 votesif you're ranged you can poke him if you're a bruiser you should match/surpass his damage if you're a tank you should be able to do the same thing if your early is really weak, naut is the least of your concerns when it comes to lane bullies

But you have to respect his all in potential w/ hook > Ult. My favorite instance of this where i was nautilus vs a yasuo and he tried to stay in the middle of the lane and farm while he was a bit above 1/2 hp, so i worked my way around the minions, hooked him after he did a dash, then ulted him to secure the kill.
If you arent playing a more tanky toplaner, such as renekton, you really have to respect the naut all in, remember tanks have higher base damages and poor scalings so they are still hitting w/ some force even when building full tank.
Lil Lewd Witch2 votesHe is hard to kill, but doesn't provide any pressure at all. He doesnt do as much damage as people act like he does. So anyone who scales into late game also is a really good pick against him since he isn't going to stop you from getting gold without constant jungle assistance

x Jadis x1 votesMaybe i just don't know how to lane against him. I guess I need to focus on sustain early and not even worry about trying to kill him. It just sucks as melee that, whenever I go to cs, he gets a snare on my and a shield, and then another huge shield for like 10 sec if he wants. So he gets free poke and I get half my health taken at early levels.

I generally play Trynd, Olaf, or Irelia top. My problem isn't so much his damage or anything, but that there's no "outplaying" him. He doesn't engage and fight you unless he wants to, which is only when he has his huge shield.

Well Def make shure to take some MR for the early game or he is gonna harass you down and deny your cs so you wont be able to item and fight back. for outplaying him the key is gonna be using minion wave to keep his Q blocked off and trying to Bait his Stomp before the guys you wanna LH are super low. his shields got a long duration, 10 seconds I believe. Ones he hits 6 he is goanna just R then rush ya. Not much to do besides try and put spaces in-between him and you once he does, Trynds proly the only one your playing that will have an easy time of managing distance when his R is inc. More or less with your matchups your gonna want bait his E as much as you can so he pushes wave and you can cs under tower or get him overextending for a gank. If you go ham with out items for damage your just gonna get bullied out. Focus on gold until you can 1v1 him, wont be a much matter of outplaying in a stand up fight with him cuz all your dudes really rely on right clicking. I'm shure others here can chip in with more advice.

Anyway, I recommend that you learn to play against 
, as he is quite easy to beat in my opinion. :)
