I think the Q damage to minions might have been too much at 50% but now at 0% bonus it's pretty pathetic. Add onto the E nerf so that hey don't get the idea to max that skill either!

I don't even know how to lane with her anymore. Half the area in lane is worked ground because minions eat so many rocks to clear the wave. Her W-E combo will not do enough damage to outrade most mid laners. What's the point of playing her?

They are balancing for worlds. Go watch people like Jenson, Bjergson play Talyah. They absolutely murdered

To out roam the opponent and apply significant pressure to the entire map, she still has stupidly high wave clear for how well she can roam. Closest champs I can think of are Ahri AurelionSol Katarina TwistedFate Xerath, and NONE of them have the ability to roam as fast, OR as often, as taliyah.

Complete removal of bonus damage was too harsh, but her waveclear was too good. But then again, Riot fucked up her design in general.

They started with her as a disruptor/zone control mage. Then they removed the lockout and implemented the shitty vector cast system which also made her a burst mage. Then they added bonus Q damage to make her a waveclear/splitpusher mage. And then they realized, "wow, she's good for some inexplicale reason" and then nerfed her into the ground because she was doing well in LCS - who the fuck wouldn't with a kit that versatile?
