The game is so early- and midgame focused that lategame hypercarries have no way of reliably getting to their endgame fantasy. For the love of Shurima, can we PLEASE go back to making every comp viable?
If I play lategame carries I deserve to have a viable chance at winning. If I play an earlygame comp and can't finish early I DESERVE to cripple my chance at winning. Come on Riot.

Lol what? Trist is pretty much the most popular/played adc right now, she is a hyper-scaler.
And before the trist adc meta that we are currently in started Kogmaw and Twitch were two of the most popular (though kallista was also pretty popular b/c of her Rend objective secure).
But yeah, hypercarries and "protect the hypercarry" comps are alive and well.
