What is going to happen with this demotion shield?

So, at about 130 games for the season climbing from plat four i finally got to Diamond. I played some games and I was demoted after 3 losses. I mean, this is pretty obnoxious, because I've spent a long time trying to get back up to diamond. You can't help when people int (actually, not the way it's freely used right now) or DC during promos. So, I lost my two promos that I actually got back up to diamond promos in, and now I'm just hard stuck, likely due to tilt as well as being a pure 100% support main.

The thing is, it's super annoying that I even have to do this at all because I haven't lost 10 games in a row at any point, which is what it SHOULD take to get demoted. I mean hell, wasn't it like 5 games in the past iirc?

So, when is this going to be fixed?
