Is it just me ...

Or does there seem to be way less full ragers this season but a LOT more inters and people who just afk farm and run it down without saying anything because they know they are unlikely to be punished? Inting is really rampant this season and it's kind of blowing my mind.

And i don't mean the overused "Wow this person is not doing great, INTER!" im talking about ppl who just smily face, say "WOOPS!" and keep throwing themselves to death because it's hard to prove.

Idk, I think this tyype of behavior is what should really be rooted out by Riot, because it's a big part of what perpetuates overall toxicity.

This whole "open mid" culture is really aggrevating. The game isn't all about you. You have 4 teammates, or 3 if even 2 of you want to throw it down. Why should you get to make the decision for everyone to give up?

What riot and the riot knob gobblers will say is "yes, it is just you, you are delusional or lying, your chances of having a troll or inter is 1,000,00:1"

Their stance is to simply deny the existence of trolls so they don't have to address it, and then ban anyone who says even the slightest thing "unfriendly". So this is what you get, nobody takes their frustration out in chat, they just int.

I do kind of get a sense that there are more people out there who think that as long as they don't rage they wont get in trouble or at least will get in less trouble, since there's a belief that most punitive actions are based on the chat.

It's not hard to prove if you submit a ticket and ask for a manual review

for me i'd like action taken against someone who goes 0/10+/0. to me thats inting or just in general not trying to win. i have had so many people go afk farming or just die repeatedly and they get no punishment because people will say "oh its okay they are having a bad game no need to be toxic!"

Truth is most people don't care about getting punished even "if" they do. Riot doesn't care about the game as a whole, just the money, and they ban those that speak the truth and allow those that int, or afk, or whatever to as long as don't say anything to do whatever, and ruin the game however, they want.

people are adapting, they learned there is no point in typing in chat since it's an autoban, so they just run it down or soft int, + they know that tilts people even more

Maybe more people are finally realizing how Riots system works. Despite how much this board has tried to censor it over the years, the vast majority of inting/trolling goes unpunished. You are much better off just AFKing or not trying than typing anything as the punishment is much less severe.

yesterday i had a varus vs veigar mid (in urf) varus died at lv 1 to veigar and said "using exhaust what a noob" so i asked him how he got into exhaust range as varus, who's q has about 2,5 times more range than veigar. his answer was "open mid" then he went afk jungling completely ignoring the team and making us lose.

now lets pretend this isnt urf but ranked where this happens often enough aswell.

even the most brainless toxic person will eventually realize that, while riot goes for the bad chat people, they did almost nothing against trolls and inters the last 3 years.

if i had to pick between calling someone a noob or to run it down straight for 50 games, id take the inting because its much more unlikely to get punished for it.

Out of all my games in the past few weeks, i haven't seen 1 person I could say fed on purpose. Maybe it's different for you. That being said, the damage in game is super high right now. Combine that with the fact that most players don't know how to play from behind, or picked a champ who's only particularly good when ahead, picked a champ who's stats make them nonviable or simply don't have enough experience with said champ (though if that's the case they shouldn't play it in ranked) and you end up with what some people call "inters". If you truly think someone is "inting", try being supportive of them and help them get an advantage. Sure they might be upset they got auto-filled or w/e, but I doubt a fed player is gonna want to feed.

The damage creep has encourage players to go completely yolo even when they are far behind in their lane.
