You know what, I'll say this. Jinx isn't like Jhin, Ashe, and MF in the notion that they have good self peel and tools to deal damage without item dependence. Jinx needs items and a solid support to do well. I think she's really good now because people in Plat actually know what the fuck their doing and that whole solo carry business is out the window because most people are competent players at that level.

Also a very good skin just came out for her so why wouldnt her play rate be high?

I wish that were the case, Plat players might as well be Silver. . . with more a more self righteous attitude. It's worse up here than people would expect. Unfortunately, Jinx is really just strong right now, good damage at all stages of the game, and plays similar to Cait with a higher damage Ult and that passive that makes her go hyper fast after getting a kill OR assist.

She is just strong right now, they'll nerf her once the sales from the new skin have gotten everyone who likes her.
