So I jungled Nocturne to test him out in the new jungle...

It's sad. Really sad. I mean, his first few clears are never fantastic, but the second time around that I tried killing Razorbeaks, I died. That camp seems to be a huge problem, because even after you get your item, you still lose huge chunks of health to it, as anybody. It took 10 minutes for me to hit level 6. 10 minutes. That isn't healthy, for him, or for many other junglers. The Smite items are okay, but their enchantments are kind of okay. Why not have the original jungle items, with enchantments that improve Smite? People are comfortable with those items. Also nerf chickens. They are way too strong. Gromp (All Hail his Glory) is in a position where that particular camp always did lots of damage. This change doesn't only hurt Nocturne. Later today or tomorrow I am going to test Rengar, and see how he fares. So far, plenty of junglers have met unfortunate circumstances in the new jungle. All it needs is a bit of toned down-ment. And the original jungle items, because they work fine. Don't break what isn't fixed.

Yeah, if you watch Stonewall008's s5 jungle clear videos, he sort of made a clear route that got everyone he tried up to 6 by around 6:20. He definitely seemed to think that the Razorbeak camp was way WAY too strong, especially in relation to the other camps. He usually went Krugs>Razorbeaks>Gromp>Back>Blue/Red>Wolves/Razorbeaks(depending on whether he went red or blue)>Other main buff>and then whichever small camps were back up. After that he basically cleared through until he got 6. His first full clear (level three from small camps, Back and then buffs) got him to 5 by around 5:20-30. Basically EVERYONE got murdered by the Razorbeaks, and nautilus and someone else actually died to them, even with his idealized clear route.

After playing in a custom (Kha'Zix derps), yeah, the first few clears are brutal. I had to literally kill Razorbeaks, then b to buy the next jungle item (you seriously need smite to clear anything to start with). The other problem I had was that I needed the fully enchanted + built jungle item and a lifesteal sustain item to even start being able to clear the jungle. While the new smite monster things are cool, it seems like you need the Stones or Gromp first just to be able to survive in the jungle, and the dragon giving a slowly stacking up buff is both really hard to notice (yay, we've killed dragon twice and have a bonus 8 AD/AP!).

I think the main problem is that you currently can't get access to red/blue buff at all until 2:30, the jungle camps do MUCH more damage, and there's no good form of sustain for junglers other than built in, or AD.

Rengar got level 6 in about 7 minutes. 9 in 13 or so. I like his clear times, which honestly are really good if you leave jungle by level 3 to get your Smite Buff, which for almost everybody will be friggin quick smite. It's the best one by far, at least, until someone with more initiative than I, goes and uses the two that smite people. I give Rengar an A, And Nocturne a C+, because 3 extra minutes for you ult is stupid. And wrong. Both champions had Runes and Masteries optimized for clear and survival in the jungle. Rengar is just better, by a lot. He is one minute behind jungle Diana, who also gets an A or A+. But I only know so much. Go watch Stonewall, he knows more than I do. Yay for Rengar, boo for Nocturne , who needs buffs and stuffs.
