Braum wasn't even above a 50% win rate yet he got nerfed...
Are you kidding me riot... he has done nothing to deserve a nerf he wasn't op he wasn't even meta.

They thought a 6'8 350 lb guy who carries around a 200 pound shield like its nothing was hitting harder than he should.
Braum jungle was too OP. Rito couldn't stand Braum jungle soloing Yi and Xin.
Why does having less than a 50% win rate mean they should not be nerfed? Win rate should not be viewed in a vacuum, for example, Leblanc not considered way underpowered at a 47% win rate.
They're just sick and tired of seeing supports go top lane.
Riot be like "NO!!! HE'S SUPPORT!!!!!!"
ahh 50% is too high. Lets get it to 45%
Worlds are incoming, so balance will for some time become more oriented about competitive.
Rito obviously doesn't want Braum played too much in worlds, due to his heavily defensive, nearly "cockblocking" kit.
its almost as though the 50% winrate rule was some fictitious testimony to champion balance that attempts to explain a system that is far too complex to be explained away so simply while at the same time, because the idea that a 50% winrate makes it balanced is utter bullshit, the balance team proceeds to not balance their game around said rule with no actual merit at that level of the design process.
But I'm sure that's not really how it works even though it is.
