Gold Card was nerfed years ago, why is Annie still allowed to exist?

As it stands, all Annie does is walk into lane, zone you from farm, and instagib you at level 6 because "annie bot is not just a freelo-abusing plat shithead".

Golden Card on TF was nerfed because he could do the same that Annie revolves around - holding the stun forever and bursting anyone that tried to engage on him while they were stunned.

Meanwhile Annie is not only allowed to have a permastun, she has a pocket thornmail, point and click hypermegadeathnuke that makes Baleful Strike with less than 200 stacks look like a squirt gun, both of her offensive spells have an 80% FUCKING SCALING, and to top it all off, her fucking E counts towards the cancer meter.

I have played this game on and off since season 3 over multiple accounts, and out of all of the champions, from getting bullied by Teemo, getting rolled by Renekton, laughing at the stupid fucking dance that every nunu does after he pops you like a zit, Annie has always struck me like the Garen of the midlane.

The difference is, you can actually beat Garen.

Twisted Fate can still use his Q to poke and waveclear while holding onto the stun.

Annie cannot use her abilities to waveclear without consuming the stun.

It's okay man, we all get those crappy match-ups. Sometimes you just gonna take a deep breathe and think of a build that will counter her actions.

there's a difference between Annie being stuck without being able to use her spells if she wants to keep her stun and TF still being able to spam Q to clear the wave and just have another gold card up in a matter of seconds anyways due to the relative short CD of his cards. Annie being able to hold her stun forever is BS true but TF being able to hold his stun and still have ok waveclear and be able to have his cards back up to keep doing the exact same thing with minimal mana usage was way more annoying

Come on man I know it's not always fun to have to put up with Annie in lane but listen.

Just because you can't figure out how to deal with a certain champ, who by all means is meant for beginners to use mind you,does not constitutes into needing nerfs. She's a learning curve champ.

Granted yes Annie Stuns are her bread and butter and if she lands it that you're gonna have a bad time.

But that's the thing. The IF in the matter. That's where your counterplay is, baiting or surviving the stun attack. Annie is a basic champ with good rewards but broad flaws that can be taken advantage of if you play it smart.
