Gold Card was nerfed years ago, why is Annie still allowed to exist?

As it stands, all Annie does is walk into lane, zone you from farm, and instagib you at level 6 because "annie bot is not just a freelo-abusing plat shithead".

Golden Card on TF was nerfed because he could do the same that Annie revolves around - holding the stun forever and bursting anyone that tried to engage on him while they were stunned.

Meanwhile Annie is not only allowed to have a permastun, she has a pocket thornmail, point and click hypermegadeathnuke that makes Baleful Strike with less than 200 stacks look like a squirt gun, both of her offensive spells have an 80% FUCKING SCALING, and to top it all off, her fucking E counts towards the cancer meter.

I have played this game on and off since season 3 over multiple accounts, and out of all of the champions, from getting bullied by Teemo, getting rolled by Renekton, laughing at the stupid fucking dance that every nunu does after he pops you like a zit, Annie has always struck me like the Garen of the midlane.

The difference is, you can actually beat Garen.

Twisted Fate can still use his Q to poke and waveclear while holding onto the stun.

Annie cannot use her abilities to waveclear without consuming the stun.

No.

Champions that force one into a specific niche regardless of role are inherently toxic and should never be allowed to exist.

This is why assassins got reworked, because they had way too much burst.

Why olaf got his man costs gutted.

Why Teemo is not allowed to be competitively viable outside of situational matchups.

Why Yasuo was nerfed after the rise of topsuo.

Because a champion who by default wins unless you revolve your entire playstyle around countering them and specifically them is the definition of anti-fun.

Botlaners in general are fucking retards that have no idea how to not lose lane and feeding is the default state of botlaners.

Khazix pickers are worse than Nidalee pickers.

Gangplank pickers... Gangplank pickers are alright. Gangplank is pretty healthy, I like gangplank.

Syndra, Xerath, Karma, and every other poke mage pickers are tryhard assholes that play to make you miserable, not to win or have fun.

Come on man I know it's not always fun to have to put up with Annie in lane but listen.

Just because you can't figure out how to deal with a certain champ, who by all means is meant for beginners to use mind you,does not constitutes into needing nerfs. She's a learning curve champ.

Granted yes Annie Stuns are her bread and butter and if she lands it that you're gonna have a bad time.

But that's the thing. The IF in the matter. That's where your counterplay is, baiting or surviving the stun attack. Annie is a basic champ with good rewards but broad flaws that can be taken advantage of if you play it smart.

there's a difference between Annie being stuck without being able to use her spells if she wants to keep her stun and TF still being able to spam Q to clear the wave and just have another gold card up in a matter of seconds anyways due to the relative short CD of his cards. Annie being able to hold her stun forever is BS true but TF being able to hold his stun and still have ok waveclear and be able to have his cards back up to keep doing the exact same thing with minimal mana usage was way more annoying

yeah a Q that he is going to mostly use to clear the wave, you do know that he stuns you with his AUTOS right? and he can get it back with minimal CD and mana usage? if you are going to even bother replying at least learn what the differences between TF's and Annie's stuns are. Annie needs to use her spells in order to gain enough stacks in order to get her stun at which point she has to decide whether to hold her stun and only use her autos to waveclear or use her stun on the wave to she can push while TF had no choice to make. He could use his Q to farm and if he really needed his autos to cs he could have his stun back in no time whatsoever without the need of using his others abilities so he still could just spam Q to waveclear or just auto like crazy and when you went near him he could just pop his stun card and deter any aggression on him
