If Kindred needs a nerf, this one is it

Let me preface this by saying I love Kindred.

What do Jinx, Katarina, and Kindred have in common?

All of their passives have interaction with takedowns. The big difference is that Jinx and Katarina have a 3 second timing window for it, where as Kindred can shoot you once and then get a stack 9.5 seconds later when the person dies to someone else. Kindred is pretty feast or famine as it is, but I think them getting a stack that long after dying or running away is a bit unfair to their opponent.

Thoughts?

Katarina hope she gets some buffs.

kindred only gets a stack if she kills the target, not if someone else does.

Passive: Both Lamb and Wolf mark targets to hunt. Scoring a TAKEDOWN on a marked target permanently empowers Lamb's basic attacks

Takedown means kill or assists.

Same as devourer with jungle monsters, kill/assists grant you stacks.

oh i see point taken, but if you hit a target, and you don't hit them again, it wont count as anything so kindred or allies must kill him in a time window also. also the mark already tells you that kindred is coming which makes it a little more fair like WW E.

You have to kill jungle mobs to get the mark, but you just need an assist to get them from champs

Jinx and Katarina can't get stacks for jungle mobs but then again any time I play Kindred they always spawn in the enemy jungle. At the opposite end of the map. Kindred needs the stacks to be effective at all and even a very fed Kindred can be easily focused down because she doesn't build squishy or have an instant blink like Katarina. Kat needed the nerf to her cooldown / reset timer, Jinx didn't need any real nerf, Kindred doesn't need any nerf unless they guarantee all jungle spawn marks are in your own jungle.

The jungle marks from wolf only appear in the enemy jungle OR on scuttle crabs, that's functioning as intended. It also appears on rift herald and baron if you have 6 or more stacks.

I'll disagree that Kindred doesn't need any nerfs, she can be really oppressive sometimes. I just think that the takedowns on her passive may need to be toned down a tiny bit.

The jungle marks appear on any jungle camps, not "only in the enemy jungle" as you seem to think. It just seems that way when you play her.

Why does she need nerfs? Any champion that snowballs can be oppressive so that argument isn't really valid and she is still ultra squishy even with her mobility.

Um, no. Jungle marks only appear in enemy jungle or Scuttle crabs.

It feels like wolf only marks enemy jungle camps because that is what he marks: enemy jungle camps and rift scuttler. Then herald/baron after 6 stacks.

I know they've been looking at toning kindred's power down, hence the recent w passive nerf. This is why I'm suggesting nerfing her passive by hitting its timing window. A small love tap change that can have a healthy hit to their power.

I don't think they need a nerf. If they start getting their marks early, they can be really snowbally, but if they don't, they are pretty useless until at least 6 stacks. Strong early game junglers and good early invades really make life hard for them.

Also, hey Flash!

Hey avantel!

I think they're okay but a bit strong. I just know that rito has been looking at them and figured I could suggest a low-ish impact nerf to trim out unintentional power.
