Can people who don't play Zoe learn how she actually works?

Everyone looks loves to circlejerk ATM about how busted Zoe is, comparing her to old Nid and how broken she is, but do these people even know what Zoe is? She is a burst mage She bursts That is her job She has 2 spells up consistently, with the ult being worthless without her cool downs, her w being useless with something picked up, and her passive being useless unless she has mana or cooldowns up People bitch about how her e kills squishes in 1 hit, but if you are a squishy getting hit by an e you have to be SERIOUSLY out of postion for it to hit.Stand behind tanks maybe? Riots Probally gonna nerf her anyway because of the literal orgy that is GD atm, and she's gonna get nerfed because some fucking 12 year olds are stuck in Plastic VI. If people actually KNEW how she worked, they would see that she's in line with every other burst mage ATM, maybe even weaker owing the fact that she hurts like a flea when even slightly behind.

TL;DR Zoe is a burst mage who bursts, Most people dont know how her kit even works yet still cry for nerfs

  • She has burst on pretty much one spell: not a problem
  • She has hard CC: not a problem
  • She has hard CC that she isn't really punished for missing: very problematic
  • Her CC increases her burst: eh, kinda problematic
  • She can exploit your own or random minion dropped summoner spells/times: kinda concerning given how hard riot has tried to remove RNG from the game, and how game changing some of what she picks up can be (smite/redemption

But here is the important thing. She can set up assassination combo form more than a screen away: DING DING DING She has the burst combo and effective safety of LeBlanc, but the range of a control or artillery mage. Simply put is not a healthy combo.

Her mana costs are pathetically low, and even then next to noone in the midlane has mana issues now that manaflow band and morello's exist.

And positioning against Zoe atm feels kind of impossible and here's why: her ult lets her basically point and click hit you with her sleep bubble, and there is nothing in hell you can do about it. Stand in minions; well, you just body blocked yourself and she can blink in (And then it's just SIMPLE GEOMETRY). Stand super far away from her and she misses, well, she'll just turn it into the zoning bubble, and you just lost half a wave of creeps. And if you cc her while she's there, it doesn't matter. In team fights she has the safety of her team, while in lane her minions or bush vision or her cc taking effect prevents effective retaliation.

She might not be as broken as people are screaming, but she is powerful at all stages in the game, safe at all stages in the game, and annoying enough to be looked at

People who come to boards to complain are not the ones who are interested in learning. If they did we would have no threads ever complaining about zed or yasuo.
