Nope. Wasted stats, lost CDR to go that sintead of protobelt, and Gunblade is too expensive to be good on 99% of league champions.

Sounds cool on paper but it's a huge waste.

Risky. Gunblade offers no HP, No cdr, and its expensive. There are better things to spend your gold on.

It's actually extremely viable, because his passive which you use after every spell, scales off 100% of AD. That means it both gets benefit from the AP and the AD.

actually you benifit from the ad twice once from the auto ad another from the passive ad scaling.

Nah. Sylas' Passive completely converts his auto attack into the scaling magic damage. The only time you'd ever have the raw AD used for an attack is if you didn't skill before it.

Converts into magic damage. That does not mean that the auto damage is lost ( wouldnt be supprised if its just hiding as physical damage under the magic damage) but that just means what would have been the physical damage part is now magic damage that doesnt spell you dont benifit from it its just changed from the moderately easy to counter damage type to the damage type where no class has more than 3 defensive items against it.

What I'm saying is It doesn't double tap. The reason the Passive's scaling = 100% AD = because it's converting that into magic damage. That's not BONUS AD damage on top of what the auto would have already done.

Autos are a huge part of his damage and hybrid scaling Ults exist- Like Ezreal, or MFs. Gunblade is also the second biggest burst item in the game behind Duskblade.

id say lich bane can surpass gunblades damage and both gunblade and lich bane do more than dusk blade unless you talking only single items. even then gunblade is better.
